BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Movie Review: 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

The spectacle of Mad Max: Fury Road is equaled only by its uncompromising brutality. Review by Matt Cummings The Mad Max franchise is one whose fans cling to it like the last tank of gasoline on planet Earth, while others state and wonder, "What's the big deal? Simply put, the franchise is one of the most brutal, thunderously loud and oddly-cast in movie history. Filled with memorable and outright weird characters like the hockey-masked Humungous to the assless-chapped Dex in The Road Warrior , to Master/Blaster and Pig Killer in Beyond Thunderdome , the entire experience can be difficult for some to get through. But with its trend-setting action sequences and dark, gritty tone, Mad Max has endured since it premiered in 1979. Its follow-up/reboot/sequel Mad Max: Fury Road is a spectacle of vehicle manslaughter, furthered by images that could be some of the most disturbing in recent film. Set in the mire of a post-apocalyptic world, one-man wrecking crew M

KICK-ASS TV Spots For #MADMAX: FURY ROAD

Here are 3 new KICK-ASS TV Spots for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Watch all the clips after the Jump... Looking about 22 per cent more badass than we’ve seen him before – yes, even as those twin ‘Bs’, Bane and Bronson – is Tom Hardy as the mythical four-wheeled warrior, Max Rockatansky. As with Mel Gibson’s forerunner, he’s a man fleeing his tragic past. His wife and child have been killed and all that’s left for him is a desolate land crawling in scum and villainy. And, being Mad Max, he’s going to have a red hot go at killing quite a lot of it. He finds himself caught up with an Imperator called Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and her crew, who are fleeing headlong from an even greater threat. And... well, carnage ensues. Co-starring with Hardy and Theron are Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and the big bad, Hugh Keays-Byrne. Please Leave A Comment-

Jennifer Lawrence Is Done Playing Mystique

MTV is reporting Jennifer Lawrence is done with Mystique after Apocalypse . Given how in demand Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult and James McAvoy are outside their roles in the X-Men franchise , and the fact that their contracts are up after next year’s Apocalypse , it makes sense that they may all be headed elsewhere once their latest mission is completed. Asked by MTV on a red carpet about that very subject, Lawrence has confirmed that she, at least, considers Apocalypse her last X-Men movie. While the story of Magneto ( Fassbender ) and Lawrence’s Mystique is reportedly a big part of the new film’s story, there’s also scope for Bryan Singer and co. to start wrapping it up. And given the amount of new mutants – younger versions of Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler and more – introduced this time, it already feels like the filmmakers are laying the groundwork for the likes of Magneto, Mystique, Beast and Professor X to take a back seat to the other

Explosive Trailer For Mad Max: Fury Road

Mad Max: Fury Road’s first trailer debuted at Comic-Con this summer and, in two action-laden minutes, it managed to arrest much of the negativity that had affixed itself to the long-delayed movie and course-correct the film onto people’s must-watch list. Now, a few months later, comes a second burst of Maxness and more of the same. Oscar Isaac To Play Apocalypse In "X-Men: Apocalypse"

Oscar Isaac has closed a deal to play the titular comicbook villain in 20th Century Fox’s “ X-Men: Apocalypse .” Bryan Singer will direct the superhero pic with Simon Kinberg writing the script. Singer has described the upcoming X-Men film, which is expected to feature all cast members including Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy, as the most destructive movie in the franchise. “‘ Apocalypse ’ will have more of the mass destruction that ‘X-Men’ films, to date, have not relied upon,” he recently said. “There’s definitely now a character and a story that allow room for that kind of spectacle.” Singer also suggested that “Apocalypse,” set in the 1980s, could feature younger versions of familiar characters. Fox will release on May 27, 2016. The most recent “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” co-starring Hugh Jackman, has earned a monstrous $745 million worldwide at the box office. Singer had been meeting with actors for the past couple of weeks but sources say

Anna Paquin’s scenes as Rogue that were cut from “ X-Men: Days of Future Past ” will be added back to the film and re-released as the “ Rogue Cut ” next summer on homevideo platforms. The extended version of “ Days of Future Past ” will become available in the first half of 2015, most likely during the summer, according to the film’s writer and producer Simon Kinberg, who made the announcement Thursday from Stage 21, where scenes for the previous “X-Men” installment, “First Class” were filmed on the Twentieth Century Fox studio lot. More than 10 minutes of extra footage will be added to the “Rogue Cut” of “Days of Future Past,” which in addition to Paquin’s cut scenes, will also include other sequences involving other characters, as well. “It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie,” Kinberg

X-Men Viral Websites Are Online Now

With X-Men: Days Of Future Past due on Blu-ray next month and the details for X-Men: Apocalypse beginning to crystallise, what better time for 20th Century Fox to sneak a couple of new viral websites for the mutant franchise online? Take a look at, and prepare to try to unravel the mysteries of, the Tandem Initiative and M-Underground . Tandem is advertising itself as a scientific think tank, which, according to its spiel, was “founded to help explore a new and growing generation: the genetically gifted.” The site offers mutants a chance to submit their stories and win free genotyping analysis, which makes us think they’re almost certainly up to no good. It’s a view shared by M-Underground , whose stated ambitions include “to expose those who wish to create a rift between humans and the genetically gifted. We will not let our world be torn apart with misinformation. The only ‘mutant threat’ is that which threatens mutants.” So… yeah, the two sides in this particular conflict
