BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Michelle Williams As Marilyn Monroe In "My Week with Marilyn"

Here is a stunning photo of Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe from her upcoming film My Week with Marilyn . The film also stars Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson . Based on two books by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, which starred Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. The film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark, after her husband, Arthur Miller, left the country. My Week with Marilyn Synopsis : In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl , the film that famously united Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, who was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller. Nearly 40 years on, his diary account “ The Prince, the Showgirl and Me ” was published, but one week was miss

Michelle Williams Offered Good Witch, In Oz

Disney may have found the final piece of its triumvirate of witches for its Oz movie: Michelle Williams . Williams has been offered the role of Glinda, the good witch, in Oz: The Great and Powerful , Disney’s prequel-ish take on The Wizard of Oz tale that stars James Franco and Mila Kunis and is being directed by Sam Raimi. Kunis is on board as Theadora, a witch who falls for Franco. Rachel Weisz is in talk to play sister Evanora, the evil witch who wants to rule the land and tries to seduce Theadora to the dark side; Weisz’s dealmaking is complicated due to her having an offer to star opposite Jeremy Renner in Universal’s new Bourne movie, and shooting schedules would overlap. If a deal makes for Williams, she would play a powerful witch who teams up with Franco to defeat Evanora (and maybe Theadora, but we’re not revealing spoilers). Oz centers on Franco as a snake oil salesman who finds himself dealing with real magic when his balloon carries him into a fabled land and he

Blue Valentine Trailer & NC-17 Rating

Blue Valentine Trailer And Slapped NC-17 Rating Now after watching the trailer to the film you will wonder how did this film get slapped with the evil NC-17 . The film is a romantic drama film written and directed by Derek Cianfrance. It is co-written by Joey Curtis and Cami Delavigne and stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams . The film centers on a married couple, Dean and Cindy, and their relationship over a number of years by shifting between different time periods. Problems with the marriage centre around Cindy's ambition, juxtaposed to Dean's contentment to centre his life around his wife and child. After the Jump, it is explained why the film got the NC-17 rating. It is a powerful, worthy film, and the NC-17 is an absolute head-scratcher. I'm told the rating was given for a scene in which the characters played by Gosling and Williams try to save their crumbling marriage by spending a night away in a hotel. They get drunk and their problems intensify when

First Picture Of Michelle Williams As Monroe

Michelle Williams As Monroe It's icons 'r' us this afternoon, thanks to this uncannily doppelganger-like shot of Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn . The actress is togging up to play the iconic blonde in the Weinstein Company/Trademark Films co-production, now underway at Pinewood. My Week With Marilyn is an adaptation of Colin Clark's novel, which recounts the story of Monroe's visit to Britain to film The Prince And The Showgirl with Lawrence Olivier ( Kenneth Branagh ) in 1956. As you might expect, the pair don't exactly become bosom buddies. Under pressure and looking for a temporary escape from the Hollywood spotlight, Monroe takes off on a week-long jaunt with Clark ( Eddie Remayne ), a lowly on-set assistant, in a kind of Roman Road holiday. Monroe, recently married to Arthur Miller ( Dougray Scott ), gets to sample the delights of London life. Here's hoping she gives jellied eels a wide berth. Williams joins a
