Marvel Collector Corps' SPIDER-MAN box arrives 3 WEEKS LATE and filled with disappointment. Review by Matt Cummings With the sting of the disastrous Marvel Super Box - now called "Stupor Box" - still in our noses, we were hopeful that this month's Spider-man box would deflect our extreme worry at MCC's current trajectory. Sadly, a very late arrival and another disappointment puts Marvel Collector Corps in a tailspin and their future in doubt. The Promise Before we begin, let's look at the original deal and MCC's current offering: promising a value of $50, regular boxes would keep the "fluff" (their words) to a minimum with Funko partnering each time to deliver an exclusive figure. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real. Legion debuts in early 2017 and is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television. The series stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Katie Aselton, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder - with Bill Irwin and Aubrey Plaza. Noah Hawley serves as an Executive Producer along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory, and John Cameron. It's a month of Marvel Movie Ass Whoopin', as Marvel Collector Corps delivers another exceptional sub box. Review by Matt Cummings With Loot Crate long gone and our desire to keep Geek Fuel ebbing, we really can't say the same for Funko's run of DC, Smuggler's Bounty, and of course Marvel Collector Corps. This month's WOMEN OF POWER theme does nothing less than hit it out of the park, pushing us further away from the monthly model.
