Star Wars Live Action TV Show Put On Hold

Star Wars Live Action TV Show Put On Hold Lucasfilm has been working on a live-action series set between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope for at least five years - The project was officially announced by George Lucas in 2005 - and, for the most part, keeping a tight lid on potential leaks that could spoil fans for what to expect. But this May, Lucas' update suggested that the series might be too ambitious for its own good: The live action TV show is kind of on hold because we have scripts, but we don't know how to do 'em. Because, they literally are Star Wars, only we're going to have to try to do them [at] a tenth [of] the cost. And, it's a huge challenge... lot bigger than what we thought it was gonna be. It's a shame, because what we do know about the project makes it sound like something worth seeing. The series was originally proposed as 100 hour-long episodes filling in the space between the fall of the Republic at the end of Revenge of The Sith

Star Wars World Cup 2010 Ad

Star Wars World Cup 2010 Ad The Adidas commercial for World Cup 2010 has gotten creative. In collaboration with Lucasfilm , they’ve managed to combine footage from Star Wars with special appearances by David Beckham, Daft Punk and Snoop Dogg. Can you name who else makes a guest appereance? “To seamlessly integrate new shots of David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and company into original Star Wars footage, a set was created to replicate the original dimensions of that bar featured in the film. This enabled the performers to work realistically with the props, make the correct eye-lines and so on. Where they were required to interact with Star Wars characters, stand-ins were used to ensure a realistic performance. The color palettes and lighting conditions of the new shots were also carefully chosen so they could be easily blended with the original footage. To bring the new ad up to date, television screens featuring a football match together with various pieces of football memorabilia were

Images From George Lucas Upcoming Film "Red Tails" Leave it to George Lucas to try and use something that has never been done before. For the first time a large scale Hollywood project will be entirely digital from start to finish – including the projection in the theaters. This represents the only way to really control the visual quality throughout the entire production chain, claims the renowned perfectionist.   “Right after the introduction of the new single chip camera Sony F35 last year, we decided that this camera will be our entry platform into the digital cinematography. At the same time, the F35 perfectly complements our already existing other CineAlta camcorders HDWF900R and HDW-750P from Sony,” explains Markus Schmidle, managing director and responsible for new technologies at FGV. “36 years in the demanding business of 16 and 35mm camera rental have created a very distinctive sense for quality: For high class e-cinema, commercials and TV dramas, we see the S

Star Wars Live Action Show May Be Closer Then We Think

Star Wars Live Action Show May Be Closer Then We Think We got news this week about a kids show about Star Wars and now we have the real news that all of us want. We all want to know what is going on with the live action Star Wars TV series, and when we will it arrive in our galaxy. The million dollar answer maybe right around the corner. According to Maureen Ryan from The Chicago Tribune. That's because Lucas and executive producer Rick McCallum want all the scripts for the show's first season to be completed before production begins. "They are working with writers on scripts," a Lucasfilm representative said in response to a query. "They won't set a production date [for Season 1] until the scripts are done." But work on the unnamed show's scripts appears to be at an advanced stage—which isn't surprising, considering the writing of the live-action show began two years ago.
