Fading Gigolo Review By: Sue Pimping out friends to your dermatologist may be normal fare for some, but for the rest of us, the slow and meandering Fading Gigolo takes ridiculousness to another level. Sure, Pretty Woman did the whole prostitute with a heart of gold falls in love with her John, and fairly well, but Fading Gigolo cannot claim the same, and comes across as more of a mid-life crisis fantasy piece than anything else. John Turturro not only wrote and directed the movie, but also stars as the title character, Fioravante, the soulful florist. LEE DANIELS’ THE BUTLER has Oscars written all over it.. and by that I mean for production design, makeup, costume, everything that has to do with making this movie looks and feels like the eras that the lead character Cecil Gaines ( Whitaker ) goes through. Whitaker himself is remarkable, sadly everybody else, or should I say every other famous faces in this movie, including Oprah Winfrey’s comeback to acting, are just along for the ride, only one or two or three of them would bear significance while the rest have little to no impact whatsoever. GOON Movie Review  By: RAMA Did RAMA want to put on his hockey gear after watching the film? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . It’s violent, raunchy, and they’re not kidding when the tagline says that Sean William Scott’s character, Doug, is nice, he may well be the nicest hockey player you’ll get to know. GOON knocks your teeth out and aims straight for your heart. Jay Baruchel has always loved this sport so I commend him for crafting this passion project, an adaptation based on the novel Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey, which I have yet to read, and Jay didn’t even intend it so that he would be the lead star, another admirable point. Liev Schreiber Wants To Return For Wolverine 2 At the press conference for the upcoming film "Repo Men" in New York, Liev Schreiber (Sabretooth) talked about the upcoming Wolverine sequel and if Victor would be making a return to my Motherland Japan for the sequel. I just had dinner with [Hugh Jackman] last night and read the first draft of the script and I was really excited about it. It's still not clear whether or not Victor will be present in the Japan storyline. In the Japan storyline as I remember it from the Wolverine comics, Victor wasn't there. So I don't know, of course I've got my fingers crossed because I love the character so much, to have the chance to do it again would be a lot of fun, but I'm not sure.
