Variety is reporting Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will re-team on “ Bill & Ted Face the Music” — the third installment of the comedy franchise. Reeves will again play Ted “Theodore” Logan and Winter is portraying Bill S. Preston Esq. The two previous titles were “ Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure ” in 1989 and “ Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey ” in 1991. Original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have penned the script, with Dean Parisot (“Galaxy Quest”) confirmed to direct. Talked about by team John Wick for a couple of years now, the TV spin-off from the Keanu Reeves -starring action franchise is officially moving forward in the States. US cable channel Starz, which is aligned with film producers Lionsgate, is working up The Continental , a series set in the Wick universe. As you might expect from that title, the show's focus will be the wider world assassins and the inner workings of the Continental Hotel chain that serves as a refuge for them. Wick originators Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are involved as producers alongside franchise writer Derek Kolstad. Chris Collins is in charge of writing the first episode and will run the show, with Stahelski stepping in to direct that initial outing.
