BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

JUSTICE LEAGUE BTS Featurette. End Of Filming

Zack Snyder tweeted a video signaling the end of their shooting in the UK. In this video you get to see some behind-the-scenes action during filming. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions Please Leave A Comment-

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #101

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery! As the stink of the worst Summer movie season comes to a close, Inside the Bucket is ready to pull up that ugly-ass carpet and prepare for a (hopefully) better Fall season! Matt and Brandon are joined by Sandwich John (and at least one Mini-Cat) by bring you up to speed on all things going on in the world of entertainment. Matt's kittens re-join the show (see them on Twitter at mfc90125), as the trio (of humans) deliver the freshest, ballsiest news from the week that was (mostly) covered on our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM . Already dripping with SJF ballsy grease, the boys endeavor to discuss several items of supposed importance. The boys discuss three news items: casting updates for the Murder on the Orient Express remake, Ben Affleck's "Bat-Tactical" suit for Justice League , and news about a third trailer for Doctor Strange . But soon, the rails come off this

Justice League's “Tactical Batsuit” Revealed

Director Zack Snyder has revealed a new look at Batman's tactical Batsuit, the first time we've seen it on Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne. See more images after the Jump... Alfred and Bruce develop an advanced suit in the “final chapter” of this story to fit the needs of the mission. This suit isn’t going to be used in filming for another two months so we only got to see a very early prototype of it alongside concept art. Described as “the tactical Batsuit,” it looks very much like the classic Batsuit augmented with straps and layers of leather and protective plates. A new cowl allows for flight goggles which he’ll wear when piloting a new vehicle. The straps look more military grade. I don’t love it. The cowl offers more protection in this story. It’s been implied inside the cowl there is a whole sub-membrane that is now expressed outside the cowl. Also, Snyder has embraced non-symmetry, giving Batman extra protection on one arm over another, making the uniform lo

Justice League Comic-Con Footage & Group Image

As Warner Bros. big DC movies panel rolled on, it was the turn of Zack Snyder and Justice League . And the first footage from that one has also arrived. Though the film is still shooting, Snyder brought a look – that can't quite be described as a trailer – at Ben Affleck' s Batman gathering the team he needs to battle evil. We see him recruit Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Ezra Miller's Barry Allen/The Flash in particular, though there are also shots of Ray Fisher as Victor Stone, AKA Cyborg on board. Oh, and of course Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, who is already willing and able to do battle. The take-away from this initial look? A definite humour boost (Ezra Miller will still need to prove himself after the debut of the TV Flash, but there's definite signs of some laughs to be found) and a fairly standard Aquaman joke. Snyder has something to prove after the dour Dawn Of Justice, so we'll have to wait and see. As if yet there's no sign of J.K. Simmons'

The Dawn Of The Justice League & Wonder Woman Logo

Hoping to capture our attention in a big way today, Warner Bros. and DC have been drip-feeding little nuggets from the Justice League , culminating in a TV special that will launch looks at some of the new films and introduce a second Suicide Squad trailer. Until then, we have a logo for Wonder Woman and an image of the Justice League. First up is that logo for Wonder Woman to go along with the film that will pencil in a lot more of the character's backstory following her introduction in this year's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . Played by Gal Gadot , we'll meet Princess Diana and some of her family (including her mother, played by Connie Nielsen ) as she has her first encounter with US air intelligence officer Steve Trevor ( Chris Pine ), a man who will have a huge effect on her life, and she on his. We've yet to see much from the film, which is still in production, but we'd expect a few more images to arrive soon enough. Then there's the Jus

#AmberHeard In Talks To Join The DC Universe

Amber Heard is in negotiations to join Warner Bros.’ DC Universe. If a deal is made, Heard will star opposite Jason Momoa as the female lead in Aquaman, several sources tell The Hollywood Reporter . She will make her appearance first in Justice League , the movie that introduces various characters and story threads to fully launch the cinematic universe based on the DC Entertainment characters. Warners had no comment. Heard will play Mera, the love interest of Aquaman and eventual queen of Atlantis. First appearing in 1963, the character’s powers include the ability to control and even solidify water. James Wan is attached to direct Aquaman, which is undergoing a dual-track development, meaning there are two separate scripts that are being worked on concurrently. David Leslie Johnson, who is Wan’s writer on The Conjuring 2, is working on one script, while the other one is being penned by Kurt Johnstad, who wrote 300 with Zack Snyder, who is directing Justice League, p

All Superhero Movies to 2020 (UPDATED...AGAIN)

Guess what happens when we say, "We have the final, final, final version of the list." Story by Matt Cummings Marvel shocked the world (again) this week with the announcement that Ant-Man was getting a sequel, and that the studio had added three more films to its release schedule. We knew our original story back in April couldn't hold, but that's our dumb luck assuming we know the inner mind of the Marvel machine. The The Kree Supreme Intelligence has got nothing on Marvel Studios! Anyways, we've had some time to digest everything and thought it was time to re-re-re-update the master list of DC/Marvel films through 2020. The changes ain't pretty, and there's some interesting suggestions embedded within. Read our thoughts after checking out the list: 2016 February 12: Deadpool (Fox) March 25: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice May 6: Captain America: Civil War May 27: X-Men: Apocalypse (Fox) August 5: Suicide Squad October 7: G

George Miller Rumored to Direct Man of Steel Sequel

Superman's road ahead could be filled with fury. By Brandon Wolfe Warner Bros. has come up with a sure-fire way to get the Internet excited about a sequel to its least-favorite movie of Summer 2013 - hire the director of its favorite movie of Summer 2015. George Miller, the 70-year-old madman who showed Hollywood's young whippersnappers how it's done with this summer's insane Mad Max: Fury Road , is rumored to be taking the reins from Zack Snyder for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. This word comes from Jon Schnepp, the director of the crowdfunded documentary The Death of 'Superman Lives': What Happened? , who confidently revealed Miller's involvement on the latest episode of his podcast. Through his work on the documentary, Schnepp made many contacts with people in the know about all things Superman, so he is perhaps in a position to know what he's talking about. Plus, Miller was once involved with an earlier version of Justice League in the mid-

Doomsday Will Appear In Batman v. Superman

Supervillain will break up the grudge match. By Brandon Wolfe Perhaps ultimately acting as the thing that gets Batman and Superman to stop pounding on each other and forge an alliance, it has been reported that the archvillain Doomsday will be appearing in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice . El Mayimbe revealed on the Shanlian On Batman podcast that the famous adversary will function in the film much as Darth Vader did in relation to Grand Moff Tarkin in the original Star Wars , as the “muscle” to Lex Luthor’s brains (which seems like a flawed analogy, as I never really thought of Vader as purely a henchman of Tarkin’s). In the comics, Doomsday was created as the perfect weapon. Abandoned to live in the inhospitable environs of prehistoric Krypton, the creature eventually amassed enough power to escape his confines, eventually arriving on Earth, where he fought, and killed, Superman. While Superman’s death doesn’t seem likely in the upcoming film, Doomsday’s presence will almo

All Superhero Movies to 2020

We have the final, final, final version of the list. Story by Matt Cummings With the sudden announcement of the Sony/Marvel Spider-man deal back in February , the entire Marvel calendar was upended, pushing titles back and others out of the way. We wrote about this back when the news broke , but it's clear that the situation hadn't exactly settled. The addition of 2016's Gambit hadn't yet been figured out, which caused yet another wave of bloggers to hit the UPDATE button on their old stories. But it doesn't end there. Other news - such as the lackluster performance of The Amazing Spider-man 2 which forced Sony to seek out a co-partner in Marvel in the first place - also changed Sony's plans regarding Drew Goddard's Sinister Six , effectively ending its development for the time being. Not one to be left out, the all-new DCCU (DC Cinematic Universe) is also vying for our hearts (and wallets), and with news on that front happening nearly ev

Justice League Story Line Revealed?

That big-screen Justice League flick might still be looking for a director, but writer Will Beale is hard at work on the script—and rumor has it this is the storyline he's adapting. Latino Review reports that Beale is looking to some classic 1980s Justice League comics for inspiration, specifically Justice League of America issues 183-185, written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by George Perez. The storyline centers on a plot by Darkseid to destroy the Earth, which at least meshes with other rumors that have hinted Darkseid could be the story's Big Bad. Here's Latino Review's description: "In a nutshell, plotwise, the three issue arc involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips into the Earth's place. Sounds like some Armageddonesque end of the Earth as we know it kind of stakes fit for summer tentpole event film if you ask me." Of course, this is still a rumor at the moment, but it

Rumor Time. Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Be Cast In Justice League Film

Though a certain saga set in a galaxy far, far away is currently the biggest topic of rumor  there is still plenty of life in speculation over who and what will be part of Warner Bros.' Justice League film, which is aiming at a 2015 launch. Now Hitfix’s Drew McWeeny has sources telling him that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is moving from likely candidate to early casting talks. Of course, nothing has officially been announced about the film beyond Gangster Squad’s Will Beall writing at least a few drafts of the script. So this remains in the world of the rumour for now. But it’s certainly a tantalising one, given that – spoiler alert here for anyone who still hasn’t seen The Dark Knight Rises or any discussion thereof and might complain – Gordon-Levitt’s John Blake is A) revealed to have the legal name Robin and B) appears to take on the Bat-mantle at the end. McWeeny, who is not a man to run any old rumor, has it that Gordon-Levitt will indeed be taking on the full Bat-duty fo

Calm Down There Is No Director For Justice League Film

Today that implies Warner Bros will get Ben Affleck as director of its Justice League film. This is a story I checked out days ago, and didn’t run when Affleck’s reps stated that it was not going to happen with him. Now, it makes sense that Warner Bros would offer Affleck the project. Chris Nolan is top man over there, but after three Batfilms and after producing the Superman reboot Man of Steel , he’s gotten spandex-clad protagonists out of his system. After Nolan , the studio then offers everything else to Harry Potter director David Yates (who is now keen on Tarzan) and Affleck, who has become a major director with Gone Baby Gone, The Town , and the upcoming Argo . Just because the studio wants Affleck doesn’t mean he will do the movie, and several sources tell me he might take a meeting, but that’s it. After costing himself momentum as an actor with some questionable choices like Gigli, Affleck admirably scripted a second act for himself with his writing and directing ski

Justice League Film Is Gaining Steam

If teaming up worked for Iron Man, Thor and The Hulk , it has to work for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman , right? Warner Bros. Pictures seems to think so, as Variety reported yesterday that the studio has hired a new writer to bring DC Comics' " Justice League " to the big screen. Just as " The Avengers " assembled the biggest heroes from Marvel Comics, "Justice League" would see DC's iconic characters joining forces to save the world. (DC Comics is a division of Warner Bros. Entertainment.) The fact that "The Avengers" is now the third highest-grossing film of all time with $1.3 billion worldwide seems to have reignited the fire to get the other legendary superhero team up on movie screens. Variety's report states that Will Beall, who wrote the upcoming " Gangster Squad " (starring Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin) for Warner Bros., has been hired to take on the screenplay. Beall previously wrote for TV's &quo
