Frank Grillo & James Badge Dale Interview For The Grey Part 2

I had the chance to make my way out to Hollywood this weekend for my first real Hollywood junket for the film The Grey . I have been to junkets before but nothing on this scale. And let me tell you it was done right! I joined the round tables during the junket to interview the cast of the film. First up Frank Grillo and James Badge Dale joined us. You might not recognize the names but trust me you will know who they are now after this film. You might have seen Frank Grillo in this movie called Wrestler, Edge of Darkness or even on the short lived show The Gate . James Badge Dale starred in AMC's drama series Rubicon but you'll recognize him for his role of Chase Edmunds in the third season of 24 and Robert Leckie in the HBO miniseries The Pacific . The interview is in three parts. Here is Part Two- During the interview they talk about how it was filming in the extreme weather in British Columbia , working with Liam Neeson, and what a pro he is. Moviefone got their hands on this exclusive trailer for the upcoming suspense/action from The Grey by Sacramento's own Joe Carnahan ( Narc, Smokin' Aces and The A-Team ) and starring Liam Neeson, Frank Grillo and Dermot Mulroney . It follows a number of men stranded in Alaska after a plane crash, and forced to survive using little more than their wits as a group of wolves come after them. The film will release on January 27, 2012. Watch the trailer after the Jump... In “The Grey”, a group of oil-rig roughnecks are left stranded on the sub-arctic tundra after their plane experiences a complete mechanical failure and crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. The survivors, battling mortal injuries, biting cold and ravenous hunger, are relentlessly hunted and pursued by a vicious pack of rogue wolves. Liam Neeson Will Return For Taken 2

Liam Neeson and Luc Besson have come to a meeting of the minds and they have worked out the scheduling snafu that made him iffy for Taken 2 . They are now closing the deal for Neeson to reprise what has become a signature role. Production is now being eyed for year end or beginning of 2012. Neeson will stick to his plan to take the rest of the year off, after completing the Clash of the Titans sequel he's shooting in London. He has been working almost nonstop, wrapping The Grey for Joe Carnahan and Battleship for Peter Berg. A fascinating drama has been playing out over the past few weeks on Taken 2, the sequel to the surprise global hit film hatched by Luc Besson that reinvigorated Liam Neeson. I'm told Besson has teamed on a script with Robert Mark Kamen, and that he's in talks with his Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton to direct the sequel. But he has been dealing with a huge problem: Neeson has all but withdrawn from reprising his role as Bryan Mills, the re

They play oil-rig roughnecks left stranded by a plane crash right in the hunting zone of a pack of rogue wolves on the frozen Alaskan tundra. Coming off the Fox film The A-Team, Carnahan said he was glad to be making a down and dirty indie, even though the locations in Vancouver in the Northern British Columbia region are numbingly cold. “It gets to be 30 below, and when we went out the other day, I took off my hat to see how long I could last, and my skin was burning with frostbite in a little over a minute,”  Read more after the Jump.. Carnahan said . “In a way, it’s great, because it beats the shit out of the cast and that suits the storyline.” He said cold and an indie budget
