The first How To Train Your Dragon was an unexpectedly moving and rather wonderful story of a boy and his giant flying reptile, and we've been eagerly looking forward to the second instalment. Now a teaser has appeared online, offering a brief action sequence from the film that suggests all the lyricism of the first film is present and correct (even amid the gross-out gags and Viking pratfalls). This Is The End Review By: MattInRC The raunch-fest  This Is The End  is fiercely unapologetic and sinfully hilarious to watch. We here at SJF are privy to so many comedy screenings every year, and we are grateful for it. Unfortunately, 2013 has given us more than our fair share of duds, making me wonder if good comedy is still out there. Luckily,  This Is The End  renews my faith, even if I can't recommend that everyone see it. Shot mostly in the home of James Franco (Pineapple Express), the film features a who's-who of modern comedic actors, including Seth Rogan (Knocked Up), Jonah Hill (Superbad), and fellow Express dudes Jay Baruchel and Danny McBride . Though he was expected to play the head of the facility that made the title character, Hugh Laurie is no longer going to star in the Robocop remake at MGM. The film, which stars Joel Kinnaman in the role originated by Peter Weller, is being directed by Jose Padilha and also stars Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jay Baruchel is nearing a deal to join the cast of Robocop , MGM and Sony’s remake of the classic 1987 sci-fi action movie. Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) is directing the film, which sees Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) as the title hero, a cop named Alex Murphy who is brought back from the brink of death and turned into a cyborg police officer. Baruchel is one of the last major players to be boarding the film, which will begin shooting September in Toronto. Hugh Laurie, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish and Jackie Earle Haley are already in the cast. Baruchel will play the head of marketing for Omnicorp, the company that is building the police cyborg. GOON Movie Review  By: RAMA Did RAMA want to put on his hockey gear after watching the film? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . It’s violent, raunchy, and they’re not kidding when the tagline says that Sean William Scott’s character, Doug, is nice, he may well be the nicest hockey player you’ll get to know. GOON knocks your teeth out and aims straight for your heart. Jay Baruchel has always loved this sport so I commend him for crafting this passion project, an adaptation based on the novel Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey, which I have yet to read, and Jay didn’t even intend it so that he would be the lead star, another admirable point.
