Horrible Bosses Sequel On It's Way

After more than half a year of negotiations, New Line has closed deals to reunite Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis for a sequel to Horrible Bosses , the surprise hit comedy released in 2011. Jamie Foxx is also likely to return and is negotiations to reprise his role as murder consultant Motherf---er Jones for the pic, which will see Seth Gordon back in the director's chair. The original movie saw Bateman, Day and Sudeikis as harried workers who, in Strangers on a Train meets Nine to Five fashion, try to off one another's bosses, with mixed results. Foxx mentored -- the term is used loosely -- the trio. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who worked on the first movie, penned the sequel. Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey played the horrible bosses. Farrell’s character died in the movie, but Aniston's and Spacey’s did not. The sequel will have a brand new set of bosses, but there is room for Aniston and Spacey to make cameos. Th

Olivia Wilde Is Relanxious

Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Brie Larson and Fred Armisen will star in Relanxious , a relationship comedy that marks the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer. The film will be produced by Daniel Dubiecki, who recently launched The Allegiance Theater; and Lorene Scafaria, writer/director of the upcoming Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Relanxious will shoot this summer in Chicago. Wilde plays Barrett, an anxiety-ridden woman who meets and is smitten with George. Played by Sudeikis , George is agoraphobic and so their courtship is limited to phone conversations in which they discuss the dates they would go on if their phobias didn’t stand in the way. As the fantasies develop, the two must decide if they can put aside their fears in order to find real-life romance. Larsen plays Barrett’s sister, and Armisen plays George’s friend and only contact with the outside world. Screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have closed a deal to pen a sequel. Stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis are expected to return. Let's hope they make a deal for Jennifer Aniston to return. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriters behind New Line’s surprise workplace comedy hit Horrible Bosses , have closed a deal to pen a sequel. It is expected that Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will be back to star in the movie, and the studio is in early talks with helmer Seth Gordon to return to the director’s chair.
