Robert Pattinson Wants To Bite Into The Role Of Jeff Buckley Film

VAMPIRE heartthrob Robert Pattinson is looking to get his teeth into a challenging new role as folk legend Jeff Buckley . The brooding 24-year-old British actor wants to put bloodsucker Edward Cullen behind him when the Twilight saga comes to an end and has set his heart on depicting his musical idol. Buckley drowned in 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee, aged 30 and immediately became a cult figure.  “Rob is obsessed with this project and is doing everything he can to land the part. “He has already told his business team this is his passion and they agree it could be the film that makes him a legitimate Oscar contender.” The film’s producer Michelle Sy said: “I’ve met actors who are keen on the part and Robert was one.” Robert Pattinson will play Jeff Buckley His main rival for the role is thought to be the American actor James Franco , who will co-host the Oscars next month. Enchanted 2 On It's Way It's not surprising, given the success of Amy Adams' first warbling, gown-clad turn, that Disney would press ahead with a sequel to Enchanted. And now the Mouse House has hired both a writer (I Am Sam's Jessie Nelson) and a director (Anne Fletcher of The Proposal) to get it in gear. Considering that the original floundered for years in development limbo, the studio would like this one to flounce in front of cameras a little quicker, with, according to Variety, the aim of possibly having it in cinemas next year. Fletcher should be a good fit, since she's a former choreographer who can handle a dance scene with the best of 'em. Now, though, the big question will be whether Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden and possibly Susan Sarandon would all return for another go-around. We're guessing they'd be up for it, given the original's massive success and (general) critical acclaim, but with all of them very much in demand, there

James Marsden To Meet The Easter Bunny James Marsden has signed on to star opposite Russell Brand in "I Hop," a live-action/CG-animated hybrid comedy from Illumination Entertainment and Universal. Tim Hill, who directed the hybrid "Alvin and the Chipmunks," is pushing his resume into hipper territory with this tale of an out-of-work slacker (Marsden) who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Brand) and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up. Cinco Paul, Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch are writing the screenplay.
