BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Cast Announced For Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom

Cast Announced For Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom DreamWorks had just announced a great cast line-up for their upcoming CGI animated sequel Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. And here is the line-up, Gary Oldman, Michelle Yeoh, Jean Claude Van Damme and Victor Garber will join the original cast members Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross and James Hong. I really enjoyed the first Kung Fu Panda film, and it would be nice for this sequel to be just as fun and entertaining. Oldman will take on the role of the new villain in the movie named Lord Shen who ahppens to be a peacock. Yeoh will play the mystical character of The Soothsayer which is a goat. Van Damme and Garber round out the cast as Master Croc and Master Thundering Rhino. Of course they would! Here is a description of the film as described by producer Melissa Cobb. In the sequel, Po goes on an amazing personal journey and we are thrilled to have assembled s

Gary Oldman To Lend His Voice In “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom"

Gary Oldman To Lend His Voice In “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom" Gary Oldman has joined the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s “Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom.” Jennifer Yuh Nelson is directing the film, slated for a summer 2011 release. “Kaboom” is a 3D sequel to the successful 2008 film about Po, a panda voiced by Jack Black. The story centres on Po's search for other pandas and his run-in with a group of bandits. Oldman voices a character named Peacock who helps Po find the bandits but is more than he seems. The plot will involve a new villain with a weapon so powerful it threatens the very existence of kung fu and their world. It is up to Po (Jack Black), Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), and the Furious Five (Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross and Jackie Chan) to defend what they know. Along the way, Po must confront his past. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

The Karate Kid Full Trailer Or Should It Be Kung Fu Kid

The Karate Kid Full Trailer Or Should It Be Kung Fu Kid I don't care how high the movie scores it will never compare to the original film. But from the full trailer doesn't look half bad. Generation Xers may have bemoaned the redo of their 1984 childhood favorite The Karate Kid (I know I did) with none other than silver spooner Jaden Smith taking on the Ralph Macchio role. But, perhaps the results from Sony’s early test screening of the movie from director Harold Zwart (The Pink Panther) will win converts to rejiggering Mr. Miyagi’s karate-lessons-hidden-in-manual labor. (Jackie Chan takes on the Wax on, Wax off mentor role.) Pay attention to the last scene, Remember the song. Gotta love that one. Official Synopsis: In Columbia Pictures' The Karate Kid, 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) could've been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother's (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying -

Karate Kid Remake Scores Huge On Test Screening

Karate Kid Remake Scores Huge On Test Screening I don't care how high the movie scores it will never compare to the original film. (Jackie Chan takes on the Wax on, Wax off mentor role.) The studio tells EW that the film scored just below Sony’s highest research screening ever, 2005’s Hitch, which ironically starred Jaden Smith’s dad Will, the last reigning movie star. With positive scores in the 97th percentile, the movie, which doesn’t open until June 11, might be one of those films that outdoes everyone’s expectations. Not that it’s likely to match Hitch’s gross, but that film did earn close to $

The Karate Kid Trailer

The Karate Kid Trailer I was hoping that the movie and trailer would just be really bad. I am a huge Fan of the original film and was hoping this film would look horrible so that no one would waste a dime to go see the film when it hits theaters. But from what they showed on the trailer it doesn't look half bad. Not saying that I would go to see the film during the first weekend, but maybe when it hits the dollar theaters. I may take a chance on it. Sherry is offered a transfer to China. Considering the U.S office is about to lay off everyone, it’s really her only choice; especially since nobody else at the office has been offered a transfer. With her young son Dre (Jaden Smith) in tow, the single-mother makes Beijing her new home. Needless to say, not knowing Chinese, and experiencing a bit of culture shock, they both find it a little hard to settle in – – Dre especially. Like Daniel Larusso in the original film, Dre (who, unlike Larusso, is a skateboarding video-game buff) imme
