Deadline is reporting that Jessica Chastain is back in the mix to play a starring role opposite Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man 3 . The role is a sexy scientist every bit as smart as Tony Stark. Chastain, who last year starred in T he Tree of Life, The Help, Take Shelter and The Debt , was originally offered the role but it looked like she was going to be preoccupied making a movie with Joel Edgerton and Samantha Morton. I think that movie was The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby. She also had scheduling issues involving the Kathryn Bigelow-directed Sony Pictures film about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Marvel then began lining up meetings with actresses like Diane Kruger, Gemma Arterton and Isla Fisher . But all that has changed as Chastain’s movie has been pushed, the Bin Laden scheduling was worked out, and it looks like she’s going to get the role after all. Though Louis Leterrier has been gathering a solid cast for his new film, heist drama Now You See Me , it looks like he’s lost one actress but gained another: Variety reports that Amanda Seyfried has dropped out of contention for a role in the film, leading the way clear for Isla Fisher to enter talks. The plot finds Mark Ruffalo as the leader of an FBI team dedicated to tracking down the Four Horseman, a gang made up of some of the world’s greatest magicians who pull off bank raids during their performances and then spread the wealth among their audiences. Rango Teaser Trailer Starring Johnny Depp Paramount Pictures has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming CGI animated film from Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski. The film is called Rango , and it just seems really weird. The movie is based on an original idea that Verbinski dreamed up. It tells story follows a chameleon with an identity crisis who goes on an adventure to discover his true self. Johnny Depp provides the voice of the main character Rango. Isla Fisher To Star In "Desperados" Universal Pictures has picked up "Desperados," a comedy spec from Ellen Rapoport that will act as a potential starring vehicle for Isla Fisher. The story is set in motion when a woman sends an indignant e-mail to her new beau, who's gone silent after they have sex. When she discovers he's comatose in a Mexican hospital, she races south of the border with her friends in tow to intercept the e-mail before he recovers. The project has been described as a female-oriented "Hangover."
