Captain America To Begin Filming In London

Captain America To Begin Filming In London Really what is the big deal people, movies are shot all over the world. But if you have your panties in a bunch to why they are filming Captain America: The First Avenger in London,  we have some info for you to the reason behind the decision. Other than it’s WWII setting, it’s mostly to save cost and for the tax incentives… The upcoming movie from Marvel Studios was originally to be filmed in Los Angeles. Instead, “Captain America: The First Avenger,” starring Chris Evans, Samuel Jackson and Hugo Weaving, will shoot this July in London, where the story is partially set. But the studio, which was acquired by Walt Disney Co. last year, concluded that London was the best location for “Captain America,” largely because the story is set in Europe and will feature a number of scenes in London such as Piccadilly Circus, and also because of favorable tax incentives. Though Marvel could have done the stage work in L.A. and shot exteriors in Londo

Howard Stark To Appear In Captain America

Howard Stark To Appear In Captain America It would make sense to have Howard Stark may an appearance in the upcoming Captain America film. In Iron Man 2, Howard Stark is played by John Slattery, who appears in a video reel flashback scene and plays an important part in unraveling a key plot mystery. How big Stark's part in Captain America will be is unknown at this time. Jon Favreau let the world know on MTV that Tony's father would be in the upcoming film. Asked about Stark senior's possible appearance in Cap.. "Yeah, because he was around then. ['Captain America'] is World War II. It wouldn't be that same actor, probably, because he would be much younger.[Howard Stark] was starting out during that time, and [he] was involved with the war effort, much like Howard Hughes," Please Leave A Comment- Source- CBM

Hugo Weaving Possible Villain Red Skull In Upcoming Captain America Film

Hugo Weaving Possible Villain Red Skull In Upcoming Captain America Film Looks like Marvel studios has narrowed down their choice to play the villain in the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America Film, and that choice goes to Hugo Weaving. Weaving would be playing Red Skull who has been Captain America’s archenemy since 1941, when he engaged in espionage and sabotage as Hitler’s right-hand man. In his final battle with the superhero, he was buried under the rubble of a bombed building but — as would occur later with Captain America — fell into a state of suspended animation. Both were revived in modern times. The deal making with Weaving is in a delicate stage that will play out in the next day or so. Agencies grouse that Marvel plays hardball in the negotiating process and also demands multi-movie commitments, though the latter usually applies to actors playing its heroes.
