TV Recap: Game of Thrones "The Mountain and the Viper" By: Sue Under the cover of night, the tavern is full and the wenches are have a good old time. But Gilly is not enjoying herself in Moletown. She keeps her head down, as one of the wenches tells her to keep her baby quiet, Gilly warns her to never touch the baby. Gilly shuts her up when she hears the bird calls. She knows the sound all too well, the wench thinks its just owls, but Gilly knows differently. The wildlings have come, and they’re slaughtering the town. Ygritte is among them and she shows no mercy as they skewer people upon their swords. They enter Gilly’s tavern, and Ygritte runs through the lead wench. She looks around for signs of others and sees Gilly hiding with her baby, and signals her to be quiet, but leaves the pair in peace. Bless her savage little heart. Sam worries over Gilly, blaming himself for her death. They knew the wildings were loose nearby killing villages and he put her in harm way.

TV Recap: Game of Thrones "Mockingbird" By: Sue Jamie made a deal for Tyrion, but he threw it all away. Tyrion refuses to die for a crime he did not commit. Hearing Shae spilling her lies was too much, he fell in love with a whore, and feels stupid for thinking that she fell in love with him too. Tyrion admits that Jamie’s deal was everything that his father could have dreamt up, and it felt good to take that all again. Jamie though, is untouchable, he’s the golden child. Tyrion isn’t ready to give up just yet though, he survived one trial without Jamie’s help, and he may have to survive another. Jamie has been training, and yet he cannot do this. Jamie hopes that Bronn will be Tyrion’s champion again, and that he will win. Tyrion wonders who will be Cersei’s champion, and it isn’t who he would hope. TV Recap: Game Of Thrones "The Laws of Gods & Men" By: Sue Stannis and Davos leave by boat, heading to their last chance. They’ve been their since mid-day. They are finally welcomed to the Iron Bank. Stannis is welcomed, and Davos says that he is the King of Westeros, but he is not the one that sits on the throne. The Iron Bank has been the one that has been funding the Lannisters, but Stannis thinks that as his bloodline is the rightful one, his should be the one being backed by the bank. But, Stannis has few backers, and even fewer supplies. Although he may have a legitimate claim, in theory, it is not a gamble the bank is willing to back. The banker bids them good day, and even warns that Braavos is not a safe place for Davos. Davos isn’t ready to walk away. Tywin is the power in King’s Landing, and he is too old to remain in power for long. Stannis is the one true king, and when the Lannisters fall, and they will soon fall, he is the best bet for the bank to ge

TV Recap: Game Of Thrones "First of His Name" By: Sue Tommen is crowned king. A boy king is never ideal, but he’ll be a much better king than his monster brother was. Cheers ring through the crowd, and Tommen finds Margaery ’s smiling face. Maester Pycell is brought in in chains, and Cersei catches Tommen and Margaery making googoo eyes at eachother. Cersei has a little word with Margaery , who remarks that Tommen looks like he was born to the throne. Margaery is wearing mourning clothes, and now even Cersei can admit that Joffery was a nightmare. He did things that shocked her. Tommen is a decent boy, he will be a good king Cersei is sure of it. She tells Margaery that he will need help if he is to rule well, that a mother is not enough. Margaery feigns that she is not interested in being Queen, that she would need to speak to her father to arrange it. Another wedding will be planned, one of many most likely. TV Recap: Game of Thrones "Oathkeeper" By: Sue Grey Worm is learning another language. Missandei is teaching him, and telling him how she remembers when she was taken as a slave. Grey Worm says that he remembers nothing before unsully. He doesn’t wish to learn anything, only to kill the masters. Dany looks on proudly, but lessons must wait, it’s time. In the dead of night, Daenerys’ men sneak into the city of Mereen dressed as slaves. The slaves are huddled, their trust in Dany is wavering. Grey Worm delivers steal to them, rallying them to fight, to take their freedom if they want it. They want it. They kill the masters in the streets, and the next day is a celebration. Daenerys walks among the former slaves as they celebrate her. She has Jorah remind her how many children were nailed to mile markers. TV Recap: Game of Thrones "Breaker of Chains" By: Sue Joffery is still dead. Cersei screaming like a banshee for Tyrion to be taken, and Sansa taken by Sir Dontos. Tywin orders the gates to be sealed, and the girl to be found. Dontos takes her to a neaby boat, and she hesitates for only a moment before getting in. He rows her out, through the fog, to a ship she can barely make out. He tries to calm her, telling her that she’ll be fine, that she’s stronger than she knows as she climbs aboard. Lord Baelish is aboard. Littlefinger schemed to have Sansa brought to him. He gives Dontos his payment, a swift arrow through the heart. Littlefinger tells her that she must stay, that her fleeing makes her look guilty. She feels remorse for Dontos, he saved her, but he was a drunk, and the best way to buy permanent loyalty is with death. Littlefinger takes the necklace that Dontos gave her, it too was a lie, one that Littlefinger planted before. He crushes it and tosses it into th

TV Recap: Game of Thrones "The Lion and The Rose" By: Sue The Bastard of Bolton chases after Cassie. Sending the poor girl tearing through the woods as he and his dogs chase after her. The girl is felled by an arrow shot by Miranda, who is jealous of her. Theon now called Reek is forced to participate, and the hounds are given the spoils. Tyrion tries to enjoy his meal, but his brother does not seem to be eating either. Tyrion makes a toast to the Lannister siblings, and Jamie knocks over his wine. Tyrion sends away the servants, and Jamie admits that he can no longer fight. His instincts are all wrong, he just needs to learn to relearn. Tryion sends Bronn to reteach him. Bronn is a tough teacher, but he gets Jamie fired up enough for a good lesson. Bolton returns home, with his new Walder bride in tow. TV Recap: Game of Thrones "Two Swords" By:Sue It’s back. Tonight kicks off season four of Game of Thrones. So bring on the dragons! Ice sits in the hands of Tywin, who hands it over the Valarian steel to a blacksmith who melts it down and makes a pair of twin swords out of it. He throws a wolf pelt on the fire and it smolders. Just how much further can the Starks fall? Jaime looks over the sword, and is surprised that the Valarian sword looks fresh forged. Tywin tells him that it was made from an old sword, that is not longer needed, one of two. Jaime has to work on his swordsmanship with his left hand now that his right is gone. Jaime is confident that the will still be better than all the others. Tywin wants him to return to Casterly Rock, but Jaime does not want to break yet another oath.
