TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "MUMMY ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS" By: Suepafly A woman aboard a train travelling through space, the Orient Express, claims to be attacked by a mummy that no one else can see. The attack kills her. The Doctor has brought Clara on board the train, which is a recreation of the original Orient Express, as one last hurrah now that she has settled down after her falling out with him several weeks prior. The passengers are all dressed in period attire. The Doctor and Clara retire to their respective cabins for the evening. Clara calls Danny to get advice on her relationship with the Doctor. She sneaks out to speak to the Doctor, but he has already snuck out of his cabin to begin investigating the murder. The Doctor meets the chief engineer of the train, Perkins, who is also suspicious of the death. Clara encounters Maisie, Mrs. Pitt's granddaughter, who is still upset over her grandmother's death and the fact that she is not being permitted to see

TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "KILL THE MOON"  By: Suepafly Clara tells the Doctor that Courtney, the student he let into the TARDIS, has gone further out of control because of his interaction with her. They enter the TARDIS and find Courtney cleaning after getting sick in there. She is hurt that the Doctor has claimed she isn't special so he offers to take her on a trip to the moon. They arrive in 2049 on a Space Shuttle. It's filled with nuclear devices and mere moments later, it crashes onto the surface of the moon. The Doctor wants to know why the gravity is higher than is should be and meets Captain Lundvik along with two other astronauts. She eventually admits that they are on a suicide mission to blow up the moon because of a mass high tide years prior that wiped out a chunk of humanity along with many of the satellites. They're looking to find a Mexican colony that was on the moon and led them to believe they should take on this mission but upon arrivi

TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "THE CARETAKER"  By: Suepafly Clara is struggling to juggle both lives, as the Doctor's companion and as a school teacher dating Danny Pink. One day, the Doctor tells Clara that she cannot accompany him on his next trip, as he will be going deep undercover. When Clara heads to work, Danny asks if she is doing alright, as she always seems to be in a hurry when she sees him. The students also seem to be aware of her relationship with Danny. In the staff room of Coal Hill School, the headmaster announces that the caretaker is ill and that they will have a temporary replacement. He enters, and it's the Doctor, using the alias John Smith. Clara confronts the Doctor, asking him what he is up to. The Doctor says that he has merely hypnotised the caretaker into thinking he's sick and will be back soon enough. TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "TIME HEIST" By: Supafly The Doctor is making suggestions to Clara over things they can do but Clara already has plans to go on a date with Danny. But just as she's about to head out, the Tardis starts ringing. Very few people have that number. But just as the Doctor answers the phone, he and Clara wake up at a table with two other people, Psi and Saibra, and some memory worms on the table. They then hear recorded messages of each of them identifying themselves and agreeing to the memory wipe of their own free will. Psi is a hacker with an augmented brain and memories wiped following a conviction. Saibra is a shapeshifting humanoid that can take on the form of anyone she comes into contact with. A briefcase on the table opens and a recording plays of plans orchestrated by "The Architect," to rob the Bank of Karabraxos. TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "LISTEN"  By: Suepafly The Doctor speaks to himself in the Tardis, pondering why people talk to themselves when they know they're alone, suggesting that they do so because they're not. He talks about hunters, nature, evolution, and hiding. It culminates to his concluding that it is important to listen. Clara and Danny meet for their date. After a slightly awkward start, things start to go well. But when his being in the army comes up in conversation, they get into a bit of an argument by their misunderstanding each other. Clara ends up storming out but appears to feel guilty by the way things soured. When she gets home, the Doctor is waiting there and says he needs her help. She joins him in the Tardis and he tells her that he has developed a theory that every living being has a constant companion, noting how children have the exact same nightmare in which a hand grabs them from under the bed at night. TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "INTO THE DALEK" By: Suepafly A rebel fighter named Journey Blue is on board a ship under attack by Daleks. The Doctor gets her out just in time but her brother was killed before he could save him, too. At her request, he returns her to a rebel space station named Aristotle. Journey's uncle, Colonel Morgan Blue is grateful to have his niece back but wants to kill the Doctor to keep the station safe. But upon learning he is a "Doctor," Blue decides the Doctor can help their patient, a war-torn Dalek that has apparently turned good. Clara is back at Coal Hill School and meets Danny Pink, the new Maths teacher, who is a veteran of the warn is Afghanistan. In his class, we see one of his students ask him if he ever killed someone outside his job, causing a tear to discretely fall onto his cheek. TV Recap: DOCTOR WHO "DEEP BREATH"  By: Suepafly After much anticipation and a promotional tour spanning the globe, Doctor Who returned for Series 8 with Peter Capaldi taking over the role of our beloved Time Lord. To kick things off, we find the Tardis being coughed up by a dinosaur accidentally time-travelled to Victoria London. The Doctor and Clara are reunited with the Paternoster Gang, including Silurian Madame Vastra, her human wife Jenny, and Sontaran (that's the one that looks like a potato) Strax. The new Doctor is psychologically disoriented, and struggles to remember the names of Clara and others before collapsing. He is brought back to Madame Vastra's home so they can look after him and Vastra gets into an argument with Clara over her struggling to adapt to a newer, much older Doctor. The older Doctor witnesses the dinosaur spontaneously combusting and through further investigation, learns that this isn't an isolate incident. He begins

MATT SMITH SET TO STAR IN PARAMOUNT PICTURES AND SKYDANCE PRODUCTIONS’ “ TERMINATOR” REBOOT Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions announced today that “ Doctor Who ” star Matt Smith will join the cast of the upcoming “ TERMINATOR ” reboot. Smith will play a new character with a strong connection to John Connor, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee. Alan Taylor is directing the film from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance Productions are producing. Part one, "The Impossible Astronaut," premieres Saturday, April 23 at 9/8c. Who And McLovin Join The Cast Of "Fright Night" David Tennant , best known for starring in the BBC series “ Doctor Who ,” and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are joining the cast of “ Fright Night ,” DreamWorks’ remake of the cult 1985 film. Tennant and Mintz-Plasse join Anton Yelchin as Charlie, a teen convinced that his new neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. Toni Collette is the teen’s disbelieving mom, who falls under the vampire’s spell. Tennant will play Peter Vincent , a character who in the original movie was played by Roddy McDowall as the host of a late-night horror show. In the remake, he’s a Las Vegas magician whose show revolves around horror-movie imagery. Vincent claims to be a vampire expert, but when the teen turns to him for assistance, he’s less than helpful. “Torchwood” U.S. Version Coming To Fox The project is from BBC Worldwide Prods., with original series creator Russell Davies writing the script. A more straight-faced spinoff of “Doctor Who,” “Torchwood” is about a covert group that investigates and fights alien activity. Two series aired domestically on BBC America as well as last year’s well reviewed stand-alone miniseries, “Children of Earth,” which broke all ratings records for the network. (If you're a fan of serious sci fi such as "Battlestar Galatica" and haven't seen "Children of Earth," rent it. You don't need to know anything about the series. And I know the previews for "Torchwood" can look silly. Trust me, it's terrific. Like "24" with aliens).
