BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Offical Poster For Atomic Blonde Starring Charlize Theron

Oscar® winner Charlize Theron explodes into summer in Atomic Blonde , a breakneck action-thriller that follows MI6’s most lethal assassin through a ticking time bomb of a city simmering with revolution and double-crossing hives of traitors. The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton ( Theron ) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Sent alone into Berlin to deliver a priceless dossier out of the destabilized city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival ( James McAvoy ) to navigate her way through the deadliest game of spies. A blistering blend of sleek action, gritty sexuality and dazzling style, Atomic Blonde is directed by David Leitch (John Wick, upcoming Deadpool 2). Also starring John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and Toby Jones , the film is based on the Oni Press graphic novel “The Coldest City,” by An

#JohnWick2 Begins Filming This Fall

We already knew it was happening, but now we have a timescale. Following up the stonking original with some alacrity, John Wick 2 will rage into production in the autumn of this year. Keanu Reeves, directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, and producer Basil Iwanyck are all returning for more mayhem. “We have ideas for days and without blinking twice we know we can outdo the action from the original,” Stahelski said a couple of months ago. “It’s the matter of story and how much you like the character. That’s always the most important. If there’s great action but you have a character that no-one likes and doesn’t have charisma you’re not going to watch it. Look at any great action star, whether it’s Harrison Ford or Liam Neeson or Robert Downey Jr., pick a name, you love the guy first. Good action, bad action, you just love them in action. So we want to make sure we have a story and a character that everybody loves and then we’ll dress it with action that we promise will be awesome

John Wick Sequel Could Happen

The first film hasn’t even made it over here yet, but John Wick directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are already mulling over ideas for a sequel to the action thriller, which is in development. John Wick finds Keanu Reeves as the titular tough guy, who has given up bullet slinging for a quiet life after his wife dies. But, because he’s a cinematic assassin, his life can never quite be that easy or calm. On a random errand, he runs afoul of some gangsters who take a shine to his car. Rebuffed, they track him down and take everything, even killing his beloved dog. Enraged, Wick picks up the tools of his trade once more and soon no one is safe... Stuntmen-turned-directors Stahelski and Leitch (the latter isn’t credited but definitely worked on calling the shots) made something that US audiences have embraced as a cult hit and has helped boost Reeves’ career. While there are no specifics on the sequel’s story or even if the star will return, the filmmakers know their focus, as th

#JOHNWICK Directors May Get Their Hands On Chris Pratt For "Cowboy Ninja Viking"

Variety is reporting that the team behind one of our favorite films of the year maybe directing Chris Pratt in “ Cowboy Ninja Viking .” Pratt has met with Leitch and Stahelski and has given his stamp of approval. Based on writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo’s graphic novel, the story follows a man who suffers from multiple personality disorder and is put into a government program to be turned into a super-soldier with the attributes of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking. Stahelski and Leitch have been cutting their teeth as second unit directors for several years but blew up after “ John Wick ” overperformed at the box office this past October. Leitch was uncredited on the project. With Pratt in such high demand, the studio quickly fast-tracked the project in order to squeeze it in before the actor’s plate became too full. It’s unclear where this film would fit in his schedule with Pratt already set to star in “Magnificent Seven,” which shoots in the spring, and the “

John Wick Review: Face-Shootings are Apparently In

John Wick combines slick action, perfectly-placed humor, and a puppy. Go figure. In John Wick , Keanu Reeves plays a cold-blooded hitman whose world is turned upside down when a trio of Russian mobsters destroy the one connection to his deceased wife. The action flick - directed by stuntmen Chad Stahelski and David Leitch - takes Wick on a vicious killing spree, as he systematically eliminates his enemies all the way to the top dog Viggo Tarasov, played by Michael Nyqvist. Along the way, Wick will renew old acquaintances, like fellow assassin Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) and former partner Marcus (Willem Dafoe). As he works his way to the top, Wick becomes the irresistible force to Tarasov's immovable object, taking us full circle to the movie's disturbing opening. Having zero expectations, I found Wick to be completely enjoyable. The action is fluid, the car stunts well-conceived, the humor perfectly placed. For two guys who never sat in the center chair o
