The film, with a $250 million-plus budget , marks the last in a deal with MGM, which is expected to court many distributors as a major franchise could change hands. James Bond is about to become a free agent, setting off a scramble among studios eager to win distribution rights to one of Hollywood's few seemingly gold-plated franchise. Sony Pictures opens Spectre , the 24th official Bond movie, on Nov. 6 in North America (the Brits get an early look Oct. 26), as the 007 adventure chases box-office records established by 2012's Skyfall , which grossed $1.1 billion worldwide to become the biggest film in the series' 53-year history. With early tracking pointing toward an $80 million-plus domestic bow, the movie has Skyfall's $88 million debut in its sights. But even if the film proves a big success, as most believe it will, it could mark the end of the Sony/MGM collaboration . Spectre is the last in a two-picture deal that Sony struck in 2011 with MGM, which co

New Actress Cast In James Bond's SPECTRE

Time To Make Room, Monica Bellucci. Story by David Clark An announcement was made by the producers of SPECTRE through the James Bond twitter account #007 revealing the addition of a potential second bond girl named Stephanie Sigman. This is interesting news because up to this point all people could talk about was Monica Bellucci starring as the oldest Bond girl in history at the age of 50. Stephanie will be playing a woman by the name of Estrella but it is still unclear as to what interactions Stephanie will have with Bond (Daniel Craig). Stephanie Sigman at the age of 28 has been in a series of movies and tv series such as Pioneer, The Bridge and the upcoming Narcos . The majority of her acting career has thus far been spent in Hispanic-themed movies and television series. It is not a stretch to say that playing a bond girl will be the biggest role she has held in her career to date. Even if Stephanie ends up playing second fiddle to Monica Bellucci this casting

Mr. White To Return In SPECTRE

Those of you who were quick to lament that the return of SPECTRE might mean the continuing abandonment of Quantum can now take heart. He was missing from Thursday's official unveiling of the 24th Bond movie, but Jesper Christensen has confirmed that he will be returning to the role of Mr. White in the new film. Mr White was the liaison for the mysterious criminal organisation Quantum in both Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace . Last we saw of him, he was escaping through the tunnels under Siena, having been saved from enthusiastic "interrogation" by M's double-agent bodyguard Mitchell.* After that, the rest was silence, and there was nary a mention of Quantum or White in Skyfall. But, says Christensen now, "I am looking forward to working with Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig. It is a truly exciting script and a very capable team. So it'll be fun..." Let the speculation of how Quantum and SPECTRE are connected begin. Like Goldfinger, Skyfall seem
