Warner Bros. has officially announced the commencement of filming on the solo Wonder Woman movie, complete with the full cast and a new first look photo of Gal Gadot as Diana Prince. Principal photography will take place on location in the UK, France and Italy. Joining Gadot in the Patty Jenkins -directed movie are: Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (Clash of the Titans, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (the Harry Potter films), Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting), Saïd Taghmaoui (G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In, Van Helsing) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead, UK's The Office). Wright would seem to have replaced Nicole Kidman in the role she had been in negotiations for. The third installment of the rebooted Star Trek franchise boldly heads into production this week in Vancouver, and its cast is getting a big pay raise. At the same time, the studio behind Star Trek Beyond quietly has locked up two key players for a potential fourth installment. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Paramount and producer-financier Skydance Entertainment recently completed last-minute renegotiations with the Star Trek stars, a move that has added as much as $10 million to $15 million to the budget. Pretty faithful adaptation of Sondheim's beloved play With a child-molesting wolf, a baby-stealing witch and an adulterous wife, this fairy tale is definitely not your normal Disney fare. Into the Woods has long been a fan favorite on Broadway, but finding its way to the big screen hasn't been quick or easy by any means. While there are some changes to the original masterpiece, Into the Woods is a pretty faithful adaptation of Sondheim's beloved play that translates well to the big screen. I'll admit, outside of Disney movies, I'm not a musical-seeking kind of girl. In fact, I mostly avoid them at all costs. All that singing really gets on my nerves. Horrible Bosses 2 uses the same comedic puzzle pieces to entertain once more. Horrible Bosses 2 might as well be subtitled in Latin 'Exactam" or "Perfecte" for its near exact copy of the 2011 original.
