Sony Pictures has released an even longer trailer (about 40 seconds longer, which is a lot for a trailer) for its upcoming adaptation of the TV series, " The Equalizer ," starring Denzel Washington , which will be released on September 26, 2014. We've been pining for awhile about the upcoming reboot of the CBS spy drama The Equalizer. This 1980's series starred Edward Woodward as retired CIA operative Robert McCall who helps people in need in New York City. And while shows like Person of Interest have upped the stakes, it was The Equalizer that first set the bat. Now, we finally have a trailer from Director Antoine Fuqua's film, which stars Denzel Washington and Chloe Grace-Moretz. Like so many Lohan rumors, it's been tricky to separate fact from myth, but late Monday we talked to one of the producers, and he confirmed that Lohan will star in the film. "Inferno" producer Wali Razaqi told us that Lohan has indeed been cast and that an announcement will be made (no doubt for the benefit of the foreign distributors whose money partly finances such productions) at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
