Could Jena Malone Play A Female "Robin" In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

“ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ” will reportedly feature a female Robin, with actress Jena Malone rumored to be playing Carrie Kelly, according to a local news station in Detroit. WILX-10 News station reporter Kirk Montgomery spoke with one of the extras at Michigan State University, where a scene involving Bruce Wayne ( Ben Affleck ) and Lex Luthor ( Jesse Eisenberg ) was being filmed this week. “I’ve also learned that the character of Robin is now female,” he said alluding to the film’s top secret script. Warner Bros. declined to comment. Malone, who appeared in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” has been seen on the WB set and recent movie premieres sporting a new red hairdo. Casting rumors for “Batman v Superman” have been in high demand since director Zack Snyder revealed the project at Comic-Con last year. The anonymous extra who spoke to WILX faces a hefty fine of $5 million after signing a non-disclosure agreement with Warner Bros. “Batman v Superman: Dawn

Gosling, Hardy, Smith & Robbie Could Join The Suicide Squad

Included as part of Warner Bros.’ big release date announcement for its DC Comics titles , the adaptation of Suicide Squad is already gathering steam, which is handy since it’s currently set as the first film to launch after 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . And apparently the studio is pursuing Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Margot Robbie to star. It is fairly early days for any discussions, though Deadline goes on to mention that they’re all fairly well disposed to signing on, which might seem surprising, but Smith is no stranger to big action fare and Hardy will do blockbuster work if he’s interested in a part. As for Robbie , she’s clearly a Warners favourite after The Wolf Of Wall Street and Focus , in which she appears with Smith. Gosling , meanwhile, is said to be taking meetings on Houdini and Doctor Strange as well as Suicide Squad according to The Hollywood Reporter , so might finally find himself in the blockbuster business. David Ayer is dir

Warner Bros. & DC Announce Film Line Up Until 2020

Not to be overshadowed by Marvel’s big Captain America 3 / Iron Man / Civil War rumor action earlier this week, Warner Bros. and DC have gone ahead and slapped a big, fat slab of news down on the table with a release date binge for films including Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad . They have also finally given confirmation that Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman and revealed that The Perks Of Being A Wallflower ’s Ezra Miller will be The Flash . Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes took the opportunity to liven up an otherwise staid shareholder earnings meeting to drop word about Miller’s casting along with the other details. The Flash – which will not be related to the just-launched US TV drama, where Grant Gustin plays the speedy character – will find Miller as Barry Allen, who awakens from a coma to discover that he now has super-speed. He pledges to use his powers for good and ends up part of the Justice League, which means he’ll be running circles around Batman, Superman and the

BATMOBILE Is Here. Official Image Of The Bad Ass Ride.

Thus far, Zack Snyder and his Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice team have done their best to get out ahead of spy snoopers and set snappers to put some of the more central imagery – Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman – online officially in decent lighting. But with the recent set leak of new Batmobile shots, Snyder is playing catch-up, releasing a fresh official pic of Bruce Wayne’s new wheels. Apparently Batman's dislike of guns doesn't extend to the vehicular sort. And no Batman looking sad next to it, like he’s just discovered his tax disc ran out, either. Shot by unit photographer Clay Enos, it’s a proper glimpse of the car Affleck will be tooling around in come 2016. The movie, of course, finds Henry Cavill’s Superman going up against Affleck’s vigilante, though it won’t be long before they team up (we imagine) to fight the likes of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor or meet some other potential Justice League team members. With Diane Lane, Amy Adams, H

Is This The New Batmobile?

Was this armored car designed for the Dark Knight? New images, which purportedly show the new Batmobile , were posted this morning by two Detroit-based Instagram users (one of whom has since removed his photo). The pictures above and below were reportedly taken near the River Rouge suburb of Detroit, where director Zack Snyder has been filming his Man of Steel follow-up Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice . The photos, which were posted by Instagram user amacro13 , have not been verified by Warner Bros. — but the car does look like it belongs in Gotham City. Slashfilm points out that the design is very similar to the Batmobile from the videogame Arkham Knight, which is being released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in June 2015. Based on the angles of the new pictures, it’s difficult to compare this Batmobile to the first official photos tweeted by Snyder, which show only the hood and rear wheels of the car. #BATMANVSUPERMAN Set Photo

As filming continues in Detroit on “ Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice ,” more and more set photos are hitting the web. First there were a handful that showed Ben Affleck as non-Batman Bruce Wayne,. Nothing too exciting, but today we finally got some real superhero stuff. Henry Cavill took a stroll to his trailer, trying and failing to keep his flowing Kryptonian garb under the black robe meant to stop onlookers from getting photos. But everyone in the world knows what Superman looks like. Why make Cavill throw on the extra layer? You mean Superman’s costume looks almost identical to the one in “Man of Steel”!? As a number of side-by-sides have already pointed out, Superman’s costume in “Dawn of Justice” is slightly different than the one in “Man of Steel,” which doesn’t make sense if you think about it, right? Superman found his suit on that 18,000-year-old ship. How is there a new one? Maybe we’ll get an explanation in “Dawn of Justice.” Where ever Kal-El did pick up this

Batman v. Superman Moves Release Date

At the same time, Warner Bros. dates no fewer than nine untitled DC Comics titles all the way through June 2020. In order to avoid a direct confrontation with Captain America 3 , Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is moving up from May 6, 2016, to March 25, the beginning of Easter weekend. Batman v. Superman , which stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill , was widely expected to move, since Marvel Studios and Disney had claimed the May 2016 weekend first. Warner Bros. and DC Comics announced the new date Wednesday alongside dates for nine untitled DC Comics titles through June 2020. That means two superhero movies a year from Warner Bros., beginning in 2016. With the move, Warners and DC are essentially declaring war on Marvel and Disney, which have been the most prolific suppliers of superhero titles. The new dates announced by Warners are Aug. 8, 2016; June 23, 2017; Nov. 17, 2017; March 23, 2018; July 27, 2018; April 5, 2019; June 14, 2019; April 3, 2020; an

The First Official Image from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The first official image arrives. See it here. Although Dawn of Justice is nearly two years away, fans have been clamoring for hints about Director Zack Synder's superhero team-up. Earlier this year, we got images of both the Batmobile and of Batman himself , suggesting a much bigger universe than a Henry Cavill follow-up to a very divisive movie ( see our review of Man of Steel here ). And although we saw Cavill in a behind-the-scenes image of him as Clark Kent, this wasn't quite the one we were hoping for. Until today. Warner Bros has released the first official image from Dawn of Justice. The image, debuted by USA Today, suggests a much darker tone than Man of Steel: Here, we see a more serious Superman than perhaps we would have expected. That's not to say the entire film will be this tonally dark, but Snyder's decision to move Supes into the 21st Century was one reason why we loved MofS so much. The image gives us hints to the story's plot a
