Christopher Nolan's latest secrecy-fest, sci-fi Interstellar , has just become a tiny bit less obscure with the debut of the film's first full trailer. At the very least, we learn more about Matthew McConaughey's lead, Cooper, and then we get to tour some extensive cornfields. Cooper is, we learn, "an educated man, a trained pilot and an engineer", but his technical skills are more or less irrelevant in a world that's running low on food. Thank goodness, then, for Michael Caine's visionary, who has a plan to save the world by buggering off somewhere else - and he needs Cooper to make the trip. With two young children at home, it's not an easy decision, but soon Cooper's off amid the stars as the weather worsens back home. At least, we think that's what's happening, so please stop making jokes about Signs and comparing it to Looper. DON PEYOTE Review By: Sue Being something completely unlike anything else is normally a good thing for a film. Being a film that makes a viewer go “ What the @$%# was that? ” is what Don Peyote does. Don Peyote is like watching an acid trip slowly unfolding as it delves further in delusion and grandeur with a great message at its core, that youre not quite sure if it’s there or if it’s the drugs talking. It’s like a trainwreck that you can’t take your eyes off of, and no matter how much you want to look away you can’t. The only mildly entertaining Rio 2 give us little to dance about. WARNING: Major Spoilers Ahead!  Review by: Matt Cummings Our first experience with the Rio franchise was decidedly meh - we found the movie about a lost Macau to be decent but ultimately drab entertainment, failing to keep our attention after a very cute opening. It wasn't that we hated Rio , but we soon found ourselves diverted to our tablets and other entertainment while things on screen limped along. Rio 2 doesn't give us much to dance about either, settling in on a superficial story about the environment surrounded by somewhat enjoyable comedic skits. Anne Hathaway is attached to star in and produce The Lifeboat, an adaptation of a book by Charlotte Rogan, whose rights have just been jointly acquired by Working Title and Focus Features. The story centers on Grace Winter, who is standing trial for murder in 1914. The young woman is both a newlywed and a widow, and she recounts how she survived the sinking of the transatlantic ship Empress with the help of her new husband only to end up in a lifeboat. The quandary, however, is that there are too many people in the boat and the survivors soon start talking about getting rid of certain people. Oscar Wrap-Up By: MattInRC In an evening that featured boobs, Anne Hathaway's nipples, and songs about losers, the 85th Academy Awards are finally done.  Luckily, there was some hardware handed out honoring a few movies as well.  Here's our thoughts on the winners, losers, and memorable moments: Biggest Disappointments: There were many, so let's start with Supporting Actor and Lead Actress.   Jones and Chastain being snubbed for Waltz and Lawrence is like saying you prefer a second-string hitter instead of Babe Ruth.  The brilliant Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty were bolstered by incredible performances, yet neither was recognized by the Academy, with both films receiving a total of 3 awards among them.  True, both dealt with still-tender social issues, but why deny recognition of good performances by making second-rate selections?  If the Academy was trying to send a message about rising young talent in the 22-year-old Lawrence, they missed the point - true, a
