BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

First Image Of Matt Damon As #JasonBourne

If you were waiting for rock solid proof – despite word of Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon returning and a flurry of recent casting – that the Jason Bourne films are really, truly back, then wait no longer. Thanks to producer Frank Marshall, we have the first image of Damon as Bourne from the set. And Damon certainly does seem to be in lithe fighting shape – leaner and meaner than in 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum . There is still no proper plot synopsis for what the former government asset will be up to this time, though Damon has said it’ll reflect our financially risky times and is firmly set in a post-Edward Snowden world. Take that for what you will, but the last time we saw him, Bourne was doing some whistleblowing of his own, releasing the information about the illegal program codenamed Treadstone that created him and then going firmly off the grid. With Julia Stiles back as Nicky and Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones and Vincent Cassell aboard. Please Leave A Comment- Sou

Vincent Cassel Cast As The Villain For Upcoming Bourne Film

According to Variety Vincent Cassel is set to play the villain in the next installment of the Jason Bourne franchise starring Matt Damon . Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones are also on board for the project, and Julia Stiles is set to return as well. Paul Greengrass is back to direct and co-pen the script with Christopher Rouse. Frank Marshall again produces the action-thriller alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment. Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Rouse and Henry Morrison serve as executive producers. Plot details are unknown at this time, though sources say Cassel will play an assassin tracking Bourne. Cassel joins the ranks of Clive Owen, Karl Urban and Edgar Ramirez , who played the villains in previous “Bourne” chapters. Production is expected to begin later this summer. The film will bow on July 29, 2016. Damon’s three Bourne movies, which began in 2002 and ended in 2007, grossed nearly $1 billion at the worldwide box

Movie Review: 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'

The bland spy caper The Man from U.N.C.L.E. compromises its agents in the field. Review by Matt Cummings If there's one thing that can be said about Director/Writer Guy Richie's breathless directorial resume, it's that he's always been able to entertain while keeping his unique vision for a film intact. Even if they're not to everyone's liking (I personally love his take on Sherlock Holmes ), one can never criticize his casting and the twists he throws in as a writer. Unfortunately, something's missing from his current project The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ; it comes across as too old for younger kids to remember and not much like the one that tore up evening television in the mid-1960's. When the art thief Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) is forced by the CIA to carry out spy missions to expunge his criminal record, he runs into the towering KGB operative Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) during an operation in Cold War East Berlin. Distrustful of ea

#AliciaVikander In Talks For Bourne Film & Assassin’s Creed

The Swedish actress is in talks to star in two major new tentpoles: Assassin’s Creed , the Justin Kurzel-directed New Regency live-action adaptation of the Ubisoft video game; and the new Jason Bourne picture opposite Matt Damon with Paul Greengrass directing. Deadline understands there’s still some work to do to get the schedules aligned but it appears likely that, whatever happens with those two projects, Vikander is likely to drop off The Circle . Word we are hearing is that the producers have made an offer to Harry Potter star Emma Watson to play the young female lead. The Circle, based on a Dave Eggers novel and written and directed by James Ponsoldt, was one of the hottest titles at the just-wrapped Cannes market. Vikander’s attachment was only announced on the eve of of the festival — to play a young employee at a tech company called The Circle, who gets involved with a mysterious man — with IM Global virtually selling out international with a slew of big indie deals.

Alicia Vikander To Star In #TheCircle

The feature adaptation of The Circle , has been written and will be directed by James Ponsoldt ( The Spectacular Now ). The film is being produced by Hanks and Goetzman for Playtone, Anthony Bregman for Likely Story, and Ponsoldt. Alicia Vikander  (Ex Machina) will star alongside Hanks. Three other major roles are currently out to casting and will be announced shortly. The novel turns into a contemporary thriller about the perils of life in a digital age where personal data is collected, sifted and monetized and used for surveillance, rendering privacy obsolete. This project marks the second time Hanks has collaborated with

Movie Review: Seventh Son

The fantasy Seventh Son never endears itself, making swooping dragons, witches, and epic battles about as bland as possible. Review by Matt Cummings In Sergey Bodrov's teen lit fantasy Seventh Son , a young man (Ben Barnes) is whisked away by the dangerous Seeker Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges), who believes his special talent as a seventh son of a seventh son will help him to combat the reemergence of the witch Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), who was imprisoned decades before by Gregory. Her arrival spells dark days for the region, and Gregory has been called to deal with her. Using a collection of specialized weapons and training, Gregory and Tom venture off to do battle, not knowing just how big the threat has become. Malkin has assembled a collection of dangerous sorcerers and witches, including Radu (Djimon Hounsou) and Bony Lizzie (Antje Traue) all of whom have wanted Gregory dead for years. But Gregory has a few tricks up his sleeve, especially when he learns th
