BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Jamie Foxx As Electro In Spider-Man Sequel?

In the final, post-credit scene of The Amazing Spider-Man , Doctor Curt Connors comes face to face with a shadowy figure who may become the sequel's villain. But who could that villain be, and is Jamie Foxx the man to play him? Casting spoilers ahead! According to Variety , Jamie Foxx is deep in negotiations to play a super-villain in the next Spider flick, due out in May of 2014. Which villain will he be playing? All signs seem to point towards the super-charged Electro . Electro, as his name suggests, has the power to control electricity, a gift he obtained by being struck by lightning. In addition to Variety's sources, Jamie Foxx himself just so happened to tweet ,  "Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well," which is pretty darn telling. Some questions remain. Namely, what origin will this version of Electro have and is the shadowy figure we saw at the end of Amazing, in fact, Electro? There was an awful lot of lightning go

Wreck It Ralph Review. Is It Worth Your Quarters?

Wreck It Ralph Review By: MattInRC Does Wreck It Ralph beat up the 2012 animated competition, or should you save your quarters for a better game? For today's kids, video games are a integral part of their lives, existing as both entertainment as well as the center of their digital lives. But for those of us old enough to remember, video games were mostly limited to arcades, creating a sometimes frenzied environment where kids would line up with their quarters to take a shot at the newest game. Between the ages of 10-15, I must have single-handedly kept my local arcade open, that is until the Atari 2600 was released. I watched as the industry changed, as home consoles took over, grinding most arcades to dust while generating an excitement for gaming that continues today. Whether home consoles have made us better players today is debatable, but there's no denying the importance that arcades once played. Wreck It Ralph tries to conjure up fond memories of quarter

John Cusack Joins The Cell

As the nights draw in and the creepiness levels rise, John Cusack’s mind is turning to horror. Just yesterday, word arrived that he was planning to star in scare-fest Due Process. Now he’s also going back into Stephen King territory for an adaptation of Cell . The book, which hit shelves in 2006, finds struggling graphic novel artist Clayton Riddell searching for his missing wife and son after a mysterious pulse from every mobile phone starts turning people into zombie-like psychopaths. King is on screenwriting duty for this one, working alongside The Last House On The Left’s Adam Alleca. There’s no director attached yet, but we expect one to be locked in soon enough. This is not the first time someone has tried to bring the novel to the screen: Eli Roth jumped on the idea when it was first published, but ditched it to focus on his own original material. Then writer John Harrison began to develop it for TV. Now, however, it will be back in movie form. Cusack previously stal

George Lucas Does An Amazing Thing. To Donate $4 Billion To Fund Education

By the end of the year, the $4.05 billion sale of Lucasfilm to Disney should be finalized. And since George Lucas owns 100 percent of his company - which has little to no debt - all that money goes to him. After that, Lucas plans to quickly put the bulk of the money into a foundation which will primarily focus on educational issues, a spokesperson for Lucasfilm tells THR . “ George Lucas has expressed his intention, in the event the deal closes, to donate the majority of the proceeds to his philanthropic endeavors.”  It's not yet clear which foundation will get the proceeds. Lucas is currently the chairman of Edutopia, which is part of the George Lucas Educational Foundation. He could put money into that or create a new foundation which would be funded from the sale. The Foundation was the vehicle Lucas used to make a $175 million donation to his alma mater USC in 2006. He has also given to many other causes over the years including the Film Foundation, Stand Up To Ca

New G.I. Joe: Retaliation Trailer. Can You See The Changes?

Remember that G.I. Joe sequel that was supposed to come out seemingly forever ago? Well, it's back and we've got the latest trailer just for you. Let's find out what's changed about the delayed film together, shall we? The official answer as to why Joe went from a 2012 summer release to the far-less-exciting March of 2013 is "increased 3D effects." Okay, yes, we can see how 3D is a good thing. Explosions, ninjas, Bruce Willis... all of the above could be made better if they're flying off the screen, but is that really all this is about? Considering Channing Tatum (who was supposed to be killed off for the sequel) appears right at the start of the trailer, we're gonna go ahead and say that his huge increase in popularity after 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike had a lot to do with the release date change.
