Top 10 Films Of 2010

There Are Some Surprises With the year coming close to the end we thought we would wrap up the Top Ten films of 2010 . The list ranges from A toy in a box to sexy vampires, a boy wizard, a green ogre and even a titan if you can believe that.  I was surprised to see some of the box office totals for these film. Check out the list after the Jump.. 1.Toy Story 3 The Pixar threequel, shot in 3D, grossed $1.1 billion at the box office . Domestically, it grossed a handy $415 million. The news overseas was even better, where Toy Story 3 grossed $648.1 million. Not bad for a franchise that took a decade-long hiatus. The extra charge for a 3D ticket no doubt boosted the bottom line for Pixar and Disney. 2. Alice in Wonderland In the months leading up to the release of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, there was rampant speculation about whether audiences would embrace Tim Burton’s retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The movie became a hit, and had impressive playability. Domestic

The "Twilight" Saga: "Eclipse" Movie Review

The "Twilight" Saga: "Eclipse" Review by Windy (aka @rosenfie ) Authors Note: As stated in my "New Moon" review , I am a Twihard and this review is written from a Twihard perspective. Therefore, you already have an idea of where this is going... "Eclipse", the third film in The "Twilight" Saga franchise, is directed by David Slade ("30 Days of Night") and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The first two films in the series "Twilight" and "New Moon" were highly sought after by "Twilight" fans. The third installment, "Eclipse,' however, expands its reach into the male audience with its action sequences. This film is the best of the three for many reasons. The actors seem more at ease with their characters, the special effects are stronger (as would be expected with a bigger budget) and there's more action and story lines. In "New Moon",

Meanwhile, in second place, Paramount's fantasy " The Last Airbender ," held steady. Following its $16.4 million bow on Thursday, it again grossed more than $16 million on Friday. Twilight Tops Fan List For 2009 The "Twilight" vampire franchise topped a survey of 2009 moviegoers' favorites, but film fans were divided over whether they loved or hated this year's "Transformers" sequel. A poll on the AOL movie Web site Moviefone.com ranked "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" both the worst of 2009 and the year's best action movie, as well as the second-most disappointing film of the year -- after "Bruno." And "Transformers" star Megan Fox was overwhelmingly voted both the year's sexiest female actress, and the actress who gave the worst performance of the 2009, according to the poll released Monday. Whatever the views of Moviefone.com followers, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" grossed more than $834 in ticket sales worldwide to make it the third-most commercially successful movie of 2009, behind "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosa
