Is January the month where films go to die? You decide in our January preview! Story by Matt Cummings After an incredibly busy month of December that saw no less than 12 interesting flicks go for our hard-earned dollars , January arrives with a distinctly "Don't forget about us!" feel. January has usually been the month where films go to die, cast off to the Island of Misfit Toys after entertaining earlier Oct-Dec releases. The reality: most of these will flop, some will linger around like Jay and Silent Bob, while others will make a profit and actually lead in the box office until around March. This year might be a different story, with one of the most anticipated slate of films in recent memory. For now. we're holding to our theory but for now there are a few that could be interesting. The trouble with Bryan Mills is that he's always in trouble. Ever since he bought his daughter a karaoke machine, things have been coming a cropper in an explosive fashion, and with Taken 3 on its way, it seems like there's been precious little respite between Taken 2 - Bryan Mills himself gets taken - and... quite what happens in Taken 3 , it's not clear. Perhaps these two exclusive stills, first seen in the new issue of Empire , hold the clues. See all the images after the Jump... Speaking to Empire, star Liam Neeson and director Olivier Megaton offer up a few titbits, with the former saying "There's an amazing car chase down the wrong way of a freeway in Los Angeles" and the latter saying "It's like The Fugitive.
