Anne Hathaway In Talks To Star In A Sesame Street Feature Film

THR is reporting Anne Hathaway is circling the starring role in a Sesame Street feature. Warner Bros. is behind the project that would be directed by Portlandia co-creator Jonathan Krisel, with 21 Laps' Shawn Levy set to produce with Michael Aguilar, and Entertainment 360, the production arm of Management 360. The movie, which would likely include appearances from Sesame Street residents Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster, is said to be a musical. Chris Galletta (Kings of Summer) wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay. Warners would co-finance the movie with MGM. While Hathaway is the first choice for the project and has an offer, it is currently unclear if the Oscar winner will accept the role. Sesame Street would reteam her with Warner Bros., the studio that was behind her last release, this summer's Ocean's 8, and MGM, which is behind her upcoming movie, the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake The Hustle. Tom Holland To Star As Nathan Drake In Uncharted Film

After spending several years approaching various writers, directors and actors and getting nowhere close to a completed film, Sony has decided to go in another new direction for the adaptation of video game series Uncharted . With Shawn Levy already attached to direct, the studio now has Tom Holland aboard to play a young Nathan Drake. The new idea is to frame the story as a prequel to the games' normal timeline of an older Drake, taking its inspiration from a sequence in the third of Naughty Dog's titles that followed the character as a young thief and his first encounter with professional rogue Sullivan. And following attempts by Joe Carnahan, David Guggenheim, David O. Russell and more to craft something, another writer will be brought in to develop the script afresh with Levy. If the first film ends up made – it feels like it finally could be, but with this hot potato, we're not counting any chickens – the studio is looking to launch a new franchise with Holland

Movie Review: Table 19

I now pronounce this a waste of time. Review by Brandon Wolfe Eloise McGarry (Anna Kendrick) put in a lot of time and effort planning the wedding of her oldest friend. But after the bride’s brother/Eloise’s boyfriend, Teddy (Wyatt Russell, inheritor of none of Papa Kurt's charisma), dumped Eloise callously via text a few months back, Eloise was stripped of her maid-of-honor duties. As if that wasn’t enough of an indignity, she has also been relegated to the “loser table” at the wedding, Table 19. This is where guests who were courtesy-invited and didn’t have the good sense to RSVP in the negative go to die. Eloise finds herself seated alongside wizened ex-nanny Jo (June Squibb), eternally squabbling married couple Jerry and Bina Kepp (Craig Robinson and Lisa Kudrow), haplessly horny teen Renzo (Tony Revolori from The Grand Budapest Hotel ) and social misfit Walter (Stephen Merchant). Together, the group forms an uneasy alliance, emerging as an unlikely support group both for get

Ex-maid of honor Eloise ( Anna Kendrick ) - having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text - decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the 'random' table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone's secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships - and even a little romance - can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.
