Spanish Jennifer's Body Movie Poster

Spanish Jennifer's Body Movie Poster
All I have to say is WOW.
Jennifer Check (Megan Fox) is a sexy, popular captain of the Cheer team that everyone wants to be friends with and, in the boys' case, date. Jennifer's friend since childhood, Anita "Needy" Lesnicky (Amanda Seyfried), is a substantially less popular nerdy plain jane. Jennifer ends up as the sacrifice in a Satanic ritual, held by a rock band, hoping that the sacrifice will increase their chances of getting a record deal. The ritual goes horribly wrong and Jennifer becomes possessed by a demon and begins to feed off of the boys in her high school—first seducing them to get close, and then consuming them in a manner similar to that of a Succubus. It becomes Needy's goal to stop Jennifer from killing more of her classmates.

First Set Photos Of The Green Hornet

First Set Photos Of The Green Hornet

They have got this movie off the ground and are really going to make it. Too bad it will be coming out the same day as Tron:Legacy. We all know who is going to win that box office battle.

HitFix.com was able to ask Seth Rogen about this new development. Rogen said that him, Evan Goldberg (screenwriter), and Michael Gondry (director), were "relieved and psyched about the change". They will be able to better promote the movie and will attend Comic-Con next year which could help the film out tremendously.

Is My Wife Turning Into A Facebook Addict? Dam You Farmville/Mafia Wars!

Is My Wife Turning Into A Facebook Addict? Dam You Farmville/Mafia Wars!
Hello, my name is April and I am a Facebook addict. I finally signed up for a Facebook account about six months ago after a lot of my friends kept telling me I needed one. It started out innocently enough. I would check it every couple days just to see what people had posted. Maybe take a few quizzes. Then I discovered Farmville.

At first I was just checking on my farm every couple of days, trying to figure out the game. Then my husband started playing it and he soon had a higher score than me. I couldn't let that happen. I was then checking the farm every day. As I started to understand how to play the game better I was checking it a couple times a day. I was sending requests to my friends to be my neighbor so I could get an even bigger farm. Then I started getting the requests to play Mafia Wars. I am now playing online at least 3-4 times a day and my friends are probably getting annoyed with all my requests for them to play with me.

So what is the draw of these games? We first get sucked in by our friends. They want us to join their mafia or be their neighbor. You think why not? I'll just play once or a couple times. Then I think our competitive nature comes into play. We want to be the one with the highest score or the most money. A big part for me is escapism. When you are having a crappy day at work it helps to take a few minutes and escape to a place where you are a farmer or a member of the mafia . Somewhere where you are successful at what you are doing. The games are made by Zynga.
Zynga was founded in July 2007 with the vision of connecting the world through games. Since then we’ve dedicated ourselves to making fun and social games for people to play with their friends and have become the largest developer of social games on the web in the process. Zynga games provide a platform for players to express themselves and form deep social connections with their friends. With a catalogue that ranges from casino games to role playing games, our games can be found on most social networks According to their own website, as of March 2009, they had 46 million monthly active users and 71 million registered users.

Now the big trick is trying to make sure that I don't really become an addict (although John may say I already am). I know I am on the boarder when my daughters know all about my farm and my mafia.

Teaser Trailer For "Confucius " Staring Chow Yun-Fat

Teaser Trailer For "Confucius " Staring Chow Yun-Fat
Biopic stars Chow Yun-Fat as the highly-influential Chinese philosopher, Confucius.
After the project was announced, the reaction in China was decidedly mixed. As the film is made in Mandarin, many have expressed concern that Chow, a native of the Cantonese-speaking Hong Kong SAR, will lack the requisite Mandarin-speaking skills to portray the revered philospher.Others were concerned that Chow, a veteran of action and Kung Fu-cinema, would turn Confucius into an "kung-fu hero. Please Help me erase the Memory of Dragonball Evolution . Dam that was such a BAD movie!
Confucius was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy have deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese thought and life. His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity. These values gained prominence in China over other doctrines, such as Legalism or Taoism during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). Confucius’ thoughts have been developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism.

The film is set to be released November 16, 2009.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
From the moment it was announced, there was something a tad loony about the idea of remaking -- or revisiting or reinventing or whatever they want to call it -- Abel Ferrara's 1992 "Bad Lieutenant," with Werner Herzog, no less, directing. Well, lo and behold, there's also something rather loony about the finished film itself. But there's also a sort of deadpan zaniness, stemming from a steadfast conviction in its own absurdity, that gives "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" a strange distinction all its own. Not at all an art film, the picture lacks sufficient action to sate the appetites of sensation seekers, but star Nicolas Cage's name means enough to offer some short-run B.O. traction and good home-viewing market returns.
Already on Vicodin for back pain, Cage's Lt. Terence McDonaugh pursues the case of five Senegalese illegals rubbed out in an obvious drug-world hit. The search for their supplier takes place across some of the scuzziest stretches of the Big Easy, and all signs point to an elusive operator named Big Fate (Alvin "Xzibit" Joiner).

But all along, the mystery takes a backseat to the lieutenant's increasingly erratic behavior. Hunched over due to his back problems and customarily dressed in a slightly oversized suit with a large revolver stuck straight down the front of his pants, Terence resembles nobody so much as Nosferatu, the protagonist of one of Herzog's key films 30 years ago. At one moment, Terence is shaking down upscale clubgoers for their drugs and screwing their dates in front of them, then rushing to his unlikely prostie g.f., Frankie (Eva Mendes), for a coke antidote to the heroin he's accidentally snorted. He also, as in the original film, runs up a frightening debt with reckless sports betting.

The Return Of Captain EO to Disneyland
With the passing of Michael Jackson it has brought up hope that Disney might release Captain EO and According to MiceAge, It has been confirmed that Captain EO will return to its original home in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park in California beginning January,2010 . So far, Disneyland Park in California is the only park that will host the film.
Looks like we will hear more new on this during Disney's D23 event this month. I wish my wife April would change her mind and decide to head down to this event. It's going to be an incredible event this year.
Captain EO and his rugged crew set out on a mission to deliver a special gift to a wicked queen who lives on a dark, desolate world. Getting there is half the fun, especially when the good captain starts boogying and the special effects start flying.

Guy Ritchie to direct ' DC Comics Lobo'

Guy Ritchie to direct ' DC Comics Lobo'
Guy Ritchie has signed on to direct his first superhero movie, “Lobo,” a big-screen translation of the DC Comics anti-hero.

Silver Pictures is co-producing the Warners production with Weed Road. Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman, and Andrew Rona are producing.

Lobo is an blue-skinned cigar-chomping alien who is an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. The character is one of DC’s more recent creations (he was introduced in the 1980s by creators Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen) and for a brief run in the 1990s, was one of comicdom’s most popular characters.

Lobo was meant to serve as a parody of violent heroes such as Wolverine and the Punisher, with his stories featuring a nihilistic streak tinged with dark comedy and excessive violence. (One story had him killing his daughter and all his illegitimate children that she had amassed to rub him out.)

First The Smurfs Movie Poster.

First The Smurfs Movie Poster.
Here is the first look at the New Smurfs movie due out in Holiday 2010. The CG on the poster doesn't look like anything great. Actually it looks like the little smuf toys that came out when we were younger. And Yes I found my wife April's collection.
The movie might be nice for people who watched the show as kids and want to share something with their own children. Have something in common. Trust me that is hard enough to do now.
I am not saying that it's going to be a blockbuster by the look of the poster. But would be a nice daughter father date movie I think.

The Plot is The adventures of a mythical race of little blue creatures in medieval times that must deal with each other and humans, particularly an evil wizard obsessed with capturing them for his own sinister purposes.

Robert Downey Jr and Jon Favreau Team Up Again For 'Cowboys and Aliens'

Robert Downey Jr and Jon Favreau Team Up Again For 'Cowboys and Aliens'

The super duo is back at it again, coming with Cowboys and Aliens. Another comic book adaptation into a movie.
Downey has been attached to the DreamWorks project since last summer, when "Iron Man" co-screenwriters Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby were working on the adaptation of the Platinum Comics graphic novel written by Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley.

Last fall, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who are executive producers on the project, took over scripting with "Lost" exec producer Damon Lindelof.

And now Favreau, who is riding a killer wave as an actor, writer and director, has come on to make it his next gig.

True to its title, the sci-fi Western explores what would happen if traditional Old West enemies, cowboys and American Indians, found the prairie attacked by aliens in mid-1800s Arizona. Long in development, the "Aliens" project was originally set up at Columbia with "Sahara" writers Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Donnelly writing.

For DreamWorks, the property represents an essential tentpole to help elevate its newly independent status now that the studio's first round of financing is complete. DreamWorks obviously felt bullish on the "Cowboys and Aliens" project when it decided to include it among the 17 projects it bought from Paramount upon leaving last fall.
DreamWorks declined comment.
As part of that exit arrangement, Paramount has an option to co-distribute the film, an opportunity it presumably will engage given Favreau's $572 million success on the Paramount-distributed Iron Man property.
As it ramps up production for the next few years' slates, DreamWorks would likely anchor its 2011 summer to "Cowboys." DreamWorks and Kurtzman and Orci are also developing the Platinum Comics property "Atlantis Rising," another big-budget sci-fi hybrid, with director Len Wiseman and writer Joby Harold.

Fox to Reboot Fantastic Four

Fox to Reboot Fantastic Four

But one thing to remember about Marvel assets is, they don't seem to wear out. We're about to see the second example where successful Marvel movie franchises are going to be reinvented.

20th Century Fox is the latest studio to start the process of overhauling one of its big Marvel Entertainment franchises, “Fantastic Four,” which has already hatched two films. The studio has hired Akiva Goldsman to oversee the re-boot as producer.

New script will be written by Michael Green, the “Heroes” co-executive producer who co-wrote “Green Lantern,” the Martin Campbell-directed Warner Bros. film that will star Ryan Reynolds.
Though Marvel Entertainment owns and finances properties like “Iron Man” and “Thor,” Fox controls “Fantastic Four” in perpetuity—as long as it continues making the films. Fox has the same arrangement on Marvel Comics properties “X-Men,” “Daredevil,” and “Silver Surfer” --which, despite an appearance in the "Fantastic Four" sequel, is still a Fox priority for a solo film.

Teen Wolf Coming to MTV

Teen Wolf Coming to MTV

Looks like MTV is going to rip apart a movie from all of our youth that we loved. Well maybe not everyone, I for at least one liked the movie. MTV is saying that the show will nothing like the movie. But in a weird way can they will turn this into another reality show, that's what MTV has turn into a Reality TV network.
MTV's reinvention of the 1980s movie "Teen Wolf" is inching closer to reality with a pilot presentation order.

The cable network announced the project in January as part of its development slate. After seeing the script, MTV brass picked it up to presentation.

The 1985 film starred Michael J. Fox as a teenager who discovers he is a werewolf. The MTV version will be set in high school, draw from the horror genre to explore werewolf mythology and include a romantic plot line.

"It has a fresh take and is very different from the original," said Liz Gateley, senior vp MTV series development. "It has more of an 'American Werewolf in London' feel to it. It's a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the center who provide a great comedy element: They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques."

The new "Wolf" was written by "Criminal Minds" creator Jeff Davis, who executive produces the pilot with Marty Adelstein (Fox's "Prison Break") and Rene Echevarria (ABC's "Castle").

The '80s continue to be hot at the broadcast networks, with contemporary remakes of the feature "Parenthood" and miniseries "V" set to launch next season on NBC and ABC, respectively, and ABC and Fox developing series based on "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Heathers," respectively.

Finally a Firm Release Date For The Green Hornet
While at Comic Con this year you got the First look at the Green Hornet Car.
Those waiting to be stung by “The Green Hornet” will have to wait a little bit longer.

This is the second move for the flick, which originally was scheduled for a June 25 opening.

Production on “Hornet” began production in Los Angeles this week, a little later than anticipated. Michel Gondry boarded as helmer in February and then during the casting process, which saw Cameron Diaz and Nicolas Cage join the cast, Chow exited the Kato role as well. Rebecca De Mornay To Play Mommy in 'Mother's Day' Remake

Rebecca De Mornay To Play Mommy in 'Mother's Day' Remake

Rebecca De Mornay is getting in touch with her maternal instincts with "Mother's Day," Darren Lynn Bousman's remake of Charles Kaufman's 1980 Troma cult classic.

De Mornay's casting as the title character is the final piece of the puzzle for the movie, which shoot in Winnipeg in September.

The original "Mother's Day" revolved around three female friends who, while camping, run afoul of two brothers who engage in murder and rape to impress their deranged mother.

The new version, written by Scott Milam, is being remolded as a psychological thriller in which the wicked family returns to the house where they grew up to terrorize the new owners and their guests. Mother, as the character is called, will to go any length to protect her children.

The part echoes the evil nanny part De Mornay played in 1992's "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, a comparison not lost on the film's makers.

"Every time you look at (Rebecca), she is on fire and to take her to this level, which is like her role in 'Hand That Rocks the Cradle' times a thousand, is exciting," Bousman said. "She is not some Freddy Krueger or Jason, so it was important for me to get a real actress."

The movie also counts Jaime King, Shawn Ashmore, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Matt O'Leary and Deborah Ann Woll among the cast.

Predators Going to Hawaii For A Vacation?

Predators Going to Hawaii For A Vacation?

Let's get this movie going. Enough talk get production started. Can't wait for this movie to hit theaters next year.
20th Century Fox scouts have been combing the jungles of the Big Island of Hawaii for possible locations for their new movie in the Predator franchise Predators, according to Tim Ryan's Reel Hawaii.

Predators would be shooting on location in Hawaii for 18 days if plans pan out, with additional shooting done at Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios in Austin beginning in late September.
Rodriguez will be producing the $40 million SF/horror sequel, which he co-wrote with Alex Litvak and Michael Finch. Nimród Antal, who made the very strange Hungarian fantasy/thriller Kontrol in the subways of Budapest before making 2007's Vacancy and the upcoming thriller Armored, will direct.
It would appear with this production and Ridley Scott's planned Alien prequel that Fox (having made two less-than-stellar Alien vs. Predator films) wants to separate its two main extraterrestrial menaces and get them back into their respective solo franchises.

Predators is currently scheduled for a July 7, 2010 release.

Bad Boys 3 Is In The Works

Bad Boys 3 Is In The Works
Bad Boys Bad Boys whatcha gonna Do? They are going to make a third movie. Three times is a charm. I enjoyed the Bad Boys Movies, But a third what are they going to come up with?Columbia Pictures is developing a third installment of the high-octane "Bad Boys" franchise, tapping Peter Craig to pen the screenplay.
One of the Best Scenes in the Movie
Warning Explicit Language on Clip:

The hope is to have a script that would reunite director Michael Bay, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. At this point, with the project in the early stages, none has a deal to return.

The "Boys" movies feature Smith and Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, caught up in cases involving car chases and explosions.

The first "Boys," released in 1995, helped launch Bay as a director and Smith as an action star even though it was not a fire-stamped blockbuster -- it grossed $66 million domestically and $141 million worldwide.

The sequel, released in 2003 when Bay and Smith's stars had risen, grossed $138 million domestically and $273 million worldwide.

All parties have expressed a willingness to return if a story can be hammered out. One potential hurdle, however, would be the costly deals with the players.

Maybe we can see a comedy in 3D just for the hell of it. Please Hollywood Come up with something new. At least it looks like Rob Zombie Isn't going to come back for the next movie.

The independent studio's co-Chairman Bob Weinstein said today that the 3-D sequel, titled, appropriately enough, "Halloween 3D," is in development.

The investment it takes to shoot movies in digital 3-D has proved particularly lucrative for horror films. For "The Final Destination," this weekend's No. 1 movie, theaters with at least one 3-D screen earned 3.25 times as much as those that showed the movie in 2-D only, according to distributor Warner Bros. That's substantially higher than for other recent releases. The equivalent 3-D multiple for last month's "G-Force," for instance, was only 1.7 on its first weekend. For July's "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" it was 1.4 andm for June's "Up" it was 2.2. January horror flick "My Bloody Valentine" earned 6.4 times as much from 3-D theaters as it did from 2-D on its opening weekend.

Weinstein said Rob Zombie, who directed "Halloween II" and 2007's reboot of the 31-year-old horror series, won't return for "Halloween 3-D." He said the studio is in negotiations with a new director, whom he declined to name, who has experience in horror and has a "different take" on the franchise.

Is Supernatural Going To End In 2010?

Is Supernatural Going To End In 2010?
Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is sticking by his word that his CW thriller will bow out next May after five seasons. Sort of.

“I did set out [to] tell a five-season storyline,” the exec maintains. “Quite frankly, I never expected [the show] to make it to five years. But now that we’re in our fifth year, I have every intention of ending the story with a bang and not drawing it out our watering it down.”

Relax, Supe Nazis. Here’s that catch I promised you…“That having been said,” Kripke continues, “I’m looking at this season as the last chapter in this particular story. That doesn’t mean there can’t be a new story. Buffy did it. The X-Files did it. You close a chapter on a big mythology storyline and then you begin a new one.

“One of the things I like about this show is we don’t draw out mysteries endlessly,” he adds. “We’ll answer a bunch of questions this season and then pose some new ones next season.”

Of course, that’s assuming there is a next season. The CW has yet to renew Supernatural for a sixth go-’round. And even if the show does come back, would Kripke still be involved? “I don’t know,” hedges Supe’s fearless leader, who doesn’t have a deal in place beyond season 5. “I’m going to cross that bridge when I get to it.”
