Finally we have some word on the a video game adaptation of Kane & Lynch . IGN caught up with Jamie Foxx during a promotional event on the Fox lot for his upcoming 3D CG-animated film Rio, during which time the actor gave us a brief status update on his long-gestating game-to-film, Kane & Lynch. "We're doing a couple of rewrites but we're still doing it. And it should be a lot of fun, a lot of action," vowed Foxx. Foxx has been attached since last summer to play the psychotic James Lynch to Bruce Willis' "Kane" Marcus in the Lionsgate film, which was supposed to go before cameras last fall only to become indefinitely postponed. But Foxx was adamant that the movie was still happening and that he's still aboard. As far as we know, there's currently no director attached to Kane & Lynch, which has seen a slew of filmmakers mentioned for it over the past year or so. Please Leave A Comment- Source- IGN

Jamie Foxx To Star Opposite Bruce Willis In Kane & Lynch We learned today that Jamie Foxx is in negotiations to star opposite Bruce Willis in "Kane & Lynch,” a video game adaptation that veteran stunt coordinator and second unit director Simon Crane is helming. I was never a huge fan of the video game but the combination of Foxx and Willis has got me interested in the film. Nu Image/Millenium is in talks to finance and produce, with Lions Gate distributing. The game follows Kane (Willis), a death row inmate who, along with a schizophrenic killer named Lynch (Foxx), is sprung by Kane's former team so that he can retrieve a stolen fortune.
