Neighborhood Watch Red Band Trailer Or Whatever You Want To Call It

You may have already seen the trailer for Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and – hooray! – Richard Ayoade’s new comedy, Neighborhood Watch. But that movie doesn’t exist anymore. Or at least, the title doesn’t. Now the movie is simply called The Watch.

The premise has not changed – the foursome are still part of a neighbourhood watch group formed less from a sense of community responsibility and more from the chance to escape their dull suburban lives and enjoy a little bit of a power trip. But they get far more than they bargained for when they discover evidence that something decidedly otherworldly is going on.

While the whole alien element has been kept low-key, this latest promo blends the lads exchanging some predictably raunchy banter with some solid evidence that their seemingly quiet little ‘burb has been invaded by some non-human new residents.

As for the title swap, that’s been forced by the real-life shooting death of 17-year-old Tray…

Kellan Lutz To Play Tarzan

Constantin Film’s Tarzan movie has been quietly been in development but is now entering the casting stage.
Kellan Lutz, co-star of the Twilight movies, has signed on to star as the title character and Spencer Locke, perhaps best known for playing K-Mart in Constantin’s Resident Evil movies, has nabbed the role of Jane Porter. The movie will be a performance-capture 3D production.

Reinhard Klooss is directing the movie with Kloos also producing with Robert Kulzer.

Klooss, Yoni Brenner and Jessica Postigo wrote the script, which updates the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs jungle hero. For example, Tarzan’s parents, billionaire adventurers, are now killed in airplane crash rather than being marooned with their child. And the movie’s villain is the CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s deceased parents.

In the script, Jane is the daughter of an African guide and is committed to the conservation and preservation of the African jungle. She eventually works wit…

Sofia Vergara Joins Machete Kills

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara is in talks to add yet more sizzle to the cast of Robert Rodriguez's "Machete Kills," which already features her fellow femme fatales Jessica Alba, Amber Heard and Michelle Rodriguez.

Danny Trejo returns to star in the Kyle Ward-scripted sequel alongside series newcomers Mel Gibson and Demian Bichir.

Pic, which starts production this month, finds the titular ex-federale (Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to take down a cartel leader and stop an arms dealer (Gibson) from launching a deadly missile.

Vergara is in talks to play the leather-clad Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican harlots have information that Machete needs.

A Quick Draw production, "Machete Kills" is being financed by Alexander Rodnyansky, who is producing with Rodriguez. Other producers include Quick Draw's Aaron Kaufman and Iliana Nikolic, as well as Sergei Bespalov and Rick Schwartz.

Vergara has been nominated for a pair of Emmys and Golden Globe…

Such a Jedi and her Sith counterpart have found common ground and established a new business together on a remote planet. United by a love of animals and a belief in the force, they have rededicated their lives to the art of grooming.

Their latest mission leads them to the base of a former Rebel. Though the war is over, they have not forgotten …

Make sure to check back for your advance screening of the film. I will be hosting a screening of the film.

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar(r) winner Charlize Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power. THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: RAMA

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: RAMA

We just put up Matt's review of the film, now let's see what RAMA thought of it.

Wow! Just Wow! I guess if you look up the word ‘awesome’ in the dictionary now, you can find the picture of THE AVENGERS, if it ain’t there, it should be. Who would’ve thought that this unprecedented endeavor could not only be possible but it’s also successful in every way, my goodness, if you don’t geek out at every scene in this film, then there is something emotionally and medically wrong with you.
Many of us wish that our childhood dream could someday turn into reality, somewhere along the way either our dreams change or we change but I can only imagine the big smile on Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige’s face, knowing that what he’s always wanted to see when he was a kid, is finally realized on the big screen, spectacularly I might add.

THE AVENGERS is the ultimate superhero movie, Marvel has now officially given DC-WB a run for their money. Earth’s mightiest h…

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: Matt

THE AVENGERS Movie Review By: Matt

The comic book fan-gasm known as The Avengers has finally arrived, with all the hype surrounding a summer blockbuster. For some, the idea of the ultmate superhero get-together promises to be bigger than anything we've ever seen. Yet, it also comes with its own set of questions: Would Director Joss Whedon (Firefly, The Cabin in the Woods) keep consistency between characters originally envisioned by other directors? Is there enough time for each hero to have their moment without making another Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition? What about the third actor playing Hulk in as many films? And while those and other questions have nagged at every fan since the project was announced, we really had nothing to fear.

The Avengers is a film of epic proportions, exceeding every expectation I had, putting to rest every question and concern I raised, and proving itself as the greatest superhero movie ever. But be warned: if you have not seen the single-her…

Little Shop of Horrors Reboot On The Way. Seymour

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is developing with an eye to star in Warner Bros.’ remake of Little Shop of Horrors.

Marc Platt, the producer behind Broadway’s Wicked and such films as Wanted and Legally Blonde, is producing the redo, to which Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the playwright behind the Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, is coming on board to write the script. There is no director set.

Little Shop originally was a quirky 1960 movie from Roger Corman that featured a milquetoast florist who discovers success with a human-eating plant. It was turned into an off-Broadway musical, which led to a second movie in 1986, directed by Frank Oz and starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.

If the project comes together in an ideal fashion, Gordon-Levitt would play Seymour, the nerdy florist who is forced to feed the beast in order to keep his fame and popularity rising.
Gordon-Levitt, who has developed a following at Warners after key turns in Inception and this summer’s The Dark Knight Rises.
