Drive Angry 3D Bombs At The Box Office

It was a bad weekend at the American box office for the Farrelly brothers , Nicolas Cage or indeed anyone who likes to see films perform well. The brothers had a better time than most, though their latest comedy, Hall Pass could only place second on its launch weekend. And to rub salt into the wound, the winner was Gnomeo and Juliet , which surprised everyone by leaping back up from third place to first in its third weekend in release with $14.2 million. Hall Pass, meanwhile, took in $13.4 million.
