BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

New Images From #StrangerThings Season 2

Now that the Super Bowl teaser for the show informed us that Stranger Things ' second season will arrive this coming Halloween, Netflix is following that with new images from the next run of episodes. With tight security surrounding the buzzed-about show, not a lot has been released about the future of the story, though we do know that the cast will grow to include the likes of Sean Astin, Paul Reiser and Linnea Berthelsen . See all the images after the Jump... There's a time jump involved, and the new season is set a year later, but, as the end of Season 1 implied, things still don't seem to be quite right with poor old Will Byers ( Noah Schnapp ), and his mother Joyce ( Winona Ryder ) still has reason to be concerned for him. And if you're concerned that the success of the series might mean it stretches on for years, then don't worry: it's on the minds of the creators, too: “Everything changes as we move forward so we’ll see,” Ro

Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, & Linnea Berthelsen Join Stranger Things 2

Let’s face it: We all miss the folks of Hawkins, Indiana. So, thankfully, Stranger Things 2 is about to start production (!) and EW has some exclusive new details on season 2. The Netflix series, created by Ross and Matt Duffer, is adding three new characters, including someone who kind of sounds like the next Eleven. And two of the actors have very important connections to genre films influenced by the Duffers. Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen has been cast as Roman. Per Netflix, she’s “an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman who suffered a great loss as a child. Although she does not live in Hawkins, she is mysteriously connected to the supernatural events at the lab…” Sean Astin (The Goonies, Lord of the Rings trilogy) will play Bob Newby, “a kindhearted former nerd who went to high school with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour) and now manages the local Hawkins RadioShack.” Paul Reiser (Aliens, Whiplash) has been cast as Dr. Owens, “a high-ranking mem

According to director Richard Donner a sequel to The Goonies is going to happen! This is something I've wanted to see happen for as long as I can remember, ever since I watched the first film when I was kid in 1986. I don't know why it took so long to actually get a sequel into development, but after all these years and all the rumors, it sounds like it's finally going to happen. When asked by TMZ if he was going to make another comic book movie, the filmmaker replied with, “If you call ‘Goonies’ a comic book. We’re doing a sequel.” For those of you who doubt this news, Donner went on to solidify it saying, “ It will happen. I’m 1000 percent certain there will be a sequel. I will bet my children on it. ” He went on to say that he hopes to get the entire original cast back which includes actors such as Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen and Martha Plimpton . The Goonies Turns 25 Today- A look Back

The Goonies Turns 25 Today- A look Back Goonies turns 25 today so I thought I would share with you all why this movie holds a place in my heart..  I have yet to meet someone that doesn't like Steven Spielberg and Richard Donner's The Goonies. This movie was released on June 7th 1985.  It's amazing that after 25 year of watching The Goonies over and over again I still enjoy it every single time! I still get that same feeling of when I was a kid, it totally takes me back to the good ol' days. I've been able to share this movie with my kids, and they love it just as much as I do! Here are a few reason why we all love Goonies so much: Sean Astin as Mikey The 1980s were the zenith, or perhaps the nadir, of "sassy" kids in movies and on TV. Hands on hips, dripping with designer whatnot and Day-Glo fashions, with soundbite-friendly comebacks and bad attitudes. Astin's performance is surprisingly thoughtful and deep—given the wackiness of the plot, Ast
