BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Alamo Drafthouse Presents First to Last Blood: RAMBO Marathons Across the Country

Austin-based cinema-eatery Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is celebrating one of America's greatest cultural icons and cinema’s greatest action franchises with an explosive RAMBO five-film marathon event at twenty-three locations across the country. Audiences will go from first to last blood, beginning with 1982’s FIRST BLOOD , then continuing with RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II (1985), RAMBO III (1988), RAMBO (2008), and then concluding with the new Lionsgate/Millennium Media blockbuster finale, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD . “This marathon is for the ultimate Rambo fan,” says Alamo Drafthouse Programmer Cristina Cacioppo. “And there’ll be so much to see – the thoughtful drama of FIRST BLOOD, the action spectacle of the middle installments, and finally, how it comes to an end in LAST BLOOD.” Opening in theaters from Lionsgate in association with Millennium Media nationwide on September 20th, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD picks up almost four decades after the events of FIRST BLOOD, with Sylvester Stallone

Stallone Says No More Rambo

Stallone Says No More Rambo Empire spoke to Stallone in this months Empire magazine, and they got some bad new for you Rambo fans out there. There was talk at one point that Rambo V was going to be a sci-fi film ( just sounds wrong.) “I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99% sure,” said Stallone, which comes as something of a surprise. After all, Rambo V was considered to be something of an inevitability after the last movie, the ultra-violent Rambo, made $113 million worldwide in 2008. But The Expendables has made Sly think long and hard about his future; and Rambo doesn’t feature in it. “I was going to do it,” he said. “I said I’d never talk about this, but with I feel that with Rocky Balboa, that character came complete circle. He went home. But for Rambo to go on another adventure might be, I think, misinterpreted as a mercenary gesture and not necessary. I don’t want that to happen. “I’m very happy with the last Burmese episode, beca

Sylvester Stallone Making Another Rocky Film

Sylvester Stallone Making Another Rocky Film I am one that would not want him to make another Rocky movie, unless he just made a cameo in the film and made the movie go down another direction. Something to think about. Rocky 6 wasn't half bad, but no way near the caliber of the first three Rocky films. But to tell you the truth if and when the movie comes out I will be there opening night. Just something about Rocky and that damn music running threw my head. I know I shouldn't go but dammit I have to. Another thing, if I was his kids I couldn't give a damn if dad made another Rocky movie, more money for me in the Trust account. And all of our father's will and have embarrassed us at some point in our life's, doesn't make u love them any less. Sylvester Stallone's wife wants him to stop making films because they embarrass his children. The 63-year-old 'Rambo' actor - who has recently revealed his hopes to direct a seventh 'Rocky' boxing movie
