But in a roundtable interview with TV showrunners sponsored by the Hollywood Reporter, The Walking Dead head honcho Frank Darabont expressed his concern that AMC might slash the show's budget for its second season—despite the show being the biggest original series success ever for the network.
Darabont wasn't alone in his fears, with Boardwalk Empire producer Terence Winter saying that his hit HBO series was also looking at budget cuts.
