BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Schwarzenegger Talks New Terminator Film

It’s not every day that Arnold Schwarzenegger jets into London, but with his latest, The Last Stand , premiering here, the Governator set his internal response system to “promote” instead of “fuck you asshole” and sat down with some co-stars to talk about it. But he also dropped mention of other projects on the bubble, including Twins sequel Triplets, King Conan and, because no installment of the franchise would surely be complete without him, The Terminator . He didn't spill much in the way of details, but having Arnie actually say he’s involved (when he's only been rumored before) is enough for now. Of course, there has been no official announcement from Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures company, which has been developing the new Terminator outing (and recently hired Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier to script it), and it’s probably still just in discussion, but at least he appears to be in the mix. The bigger question, of course, is what form his involvement wil

Rodrigo Santoro Joins Schwarzenegger For The Last Stand

Rodrigo Santoro has closed a deal to co-star with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Last Stand , the comeback action vehicle for the former governor. The movie, directed by Kim Jee Woon and produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, begins shooting Oct. 20 in New Mexico. Stand concerns an ageing small-town sheriff who finds himself and his inexperienced staff as the only thing standing in between a fugitive cartel leader and the Mexican border. Santoro, whose involvement in the movie was tipped off last week by Latino Review , will play a party-loving officer under Schwarzenegger. Peter Stormare and Zach Gilford are also among the cast. Santoro has been on a bit of a roll, booking gig after gig. The actor, who did voice work in the Fox animated hit Rio, is coming off a role opposite Jennifer Lopez in Lionsgate’s What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Arnold Schwarzenegger Next Film Could Be "The Last Stand"

UPDATE, NOW WITH MORE HEAT : Sources tell Heat Vision that Schwarzenegger and Lionsgate are far along in the dealmaking process and a tentative late August start date is being eyed. Dealmaking could still fall apart over money, but if made, Lionsgate would get bragging rights to having the first post-office Arnie movie, a movie that would likely be a safe bet for all involved as it would it old school Arnie: him versus a bunch of bad guys. Arnold Schwarzenegge r might have found his big-screen return project. Sources say that the actor-turned-governor-turned-returning actor is circling The Last Stand , a Lionsgate action project being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Jee-Woon Kim , the director behind Korean film The Good, The Bad, The Weird , is helming the crime thriller, which is set in motion when a cartel leader breaks out of a courthouse and speeds to the Mexican border.
