The Goonies Sequel Is Going To Happen 1000% According To Richard Donner

According to director Richard Donner a sequel to The Goonies is going to happen! This is something I've wanted to see happen for as long as I can remember, ever since I watched the first film when I was kid in 1986. I don't know why it took so long to actually get a sequel into development, but after all these years and all the rumors, it sounds like it's finally going to happen.

When asked by TMZ if he was going to make another comic book movie, the filmmaker replied with, “If you call ‘Goonies’ a comic book. We’re doing a sequel.”

For those of you who doubt this news, Donner went on to solidify it saying,

It will happen. I’m 1000 percent certain there will be a sequel. I will bet my children on it.

He went on to say that he hopes to get the entire original cast back which includes actors such as Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen and Martha Plimpton. Donner didn't say whether the film will follow the gang 28 years later or feature them in smaller …

Gwendoline Christie To Replace Lily Rabe In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2

Christie will replace Lily Rabe in the role of Commander Lyme.

Gwendoline Christie, who plays the tough warrior Brienne of Tarth on HBO's Game of Thrones, has nabbed another military leader role.

The actress will play Commander Lyme in Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. She's replacing Lily Rabe, who was originally cast in the role.

Rabe had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict with a previous commitment to Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare in the Park.

The fourth film in the hit YA franchise -- which will star Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson -- is currently filming back-to-back with Mockingjay - Part 1.

Lyme is one of the leaders of District 13, the district in the futuristic Panem that is rebelling against the government. She hails from District 2 and is a past victor of an unknown Hunger Games.

Mockingjay - Part 1, the third of four films based on Suzanne Collins' popular YA novels, will hit theaters Nov. 21, 2014. Mockingj…

Dredd 2 Video Update From Karl Urban

Urban says Filmmakers Working "Very, Very Hard" to Make it Happen.
Story By: Matt Cummings
The ultimate in comic book distopia - Dredd 3D - didn't exactly knock it out of the park when it premiered in 2012. It grossed far below its $50 million budget, and fans worried that the franchise would suffer another long sleep before being recast. Fortunately, people still buy DVD's, and the film became an instant hit, achieving a sort of cult status with fans and newcomers (yours truly included). Luckily, its performance in the home market - coupled with a great petition campaign - renewed hope that a sequel might be in the works.
And while that progress appears to be slow, Dredd star Karl Urban has released a video that tells a lot about where the project is headed. As you can see above, Urban continues to believe that a sequel will happen. The key phrase to remember here is that screenwriter Alex Garland is working "very, very hard" to make Dredd 2 a real…

International TV Spot for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 With New footage

Here’s the latest International TV Spot for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, we get some never before scenes in the clip.

The plot goes a little something like this: Peter is still balancing acts of heroism with romancing Gwen and trying to live up to his Uncle Ben’s (Martin Sheen) credo about responsibility. Oh, and he doesn't want to make his Aunt May (Sally Field) worry too much. Three villains have been revealed - Electro, Paul Giamatti's Rhino and Dane DeHaan's Harry Osborne (and, it seems from the trailer, Green Goblin) - all of whom want to squish Andrew Garfield's red and blue hero like a, um, bug.
