Piranha 3D - The Sequel In The Works I haven't seen the film nor do I want to waste my time and movie on this film. But we should have all seen this coming. With a budget of $24 million to make, and opening to $10 million at the weekend boxoffice Dimension has announced it’s working on “ Piranha 3D - The Sequel .” The company didn’t go into details as to whether or not director Alexandre Aja would return or if any writers had been hired to pen the script, but producer Mark Canton will be back. “We are thrilled that audiences are not just loving ' Piranha 3D ,' but cheering for it,” said Canton in the announcement. “And it's fantastic that so many critics are really getting the movie and recommending it. We can't wait to get to work on the sequel.” “Piranha 3D,” which cost around $24 million to make, is one of those rare horror movies to enjoy rave reviews. Piranha 3D Full Trailer Another trailer released today. This is the official and full trailer for the upcoming film Piranha 3D.  I know I know when I first heard about this movie I thought, another corny movie. But after seeing the full trailer its got my attention. Piranha 3-D is an upcoming 3D horror film to be directed by Alexandre Aja and featuring an ensemble cast including veteran actors such as Elisabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss, Jerry O'Connell and Christopher Lloyd as well as more recently known actors Ving Rhames, Dina Meyer, Ricardo Chavira and Eli Roth. It is a remake of the 1978 film Piranha The fictional Lake Victoria is the caldera of a prehistoric volcano. Each 4th of July weekend, the population of Lake Victoria, Arizona swells from 5,000 to 50,000 as young people flood the town to celebrate, but now, a new type of terror is about to be cut loose on beautiful Lake Victoria. After sudden underwater tremors tear open a crack in the lake floor, millions of prehi
