A Christmas Story: The Musical! Ralphie To Produce

Ralphie Parker Returns To The Stage Had to make sure I put up this article for our hard working reporter HAMMER. Christmas Story is one of his all time favorite movies. He goes on and on about how great this film is. Well this news should give a pep in his step. Peter Billingsley -- star of 1983’s A Christmas Story -- has signed on to executive produce the musical adaptation of the film. “A Christmas Story has always meant a lot to me personally,” says Billingsley, who played 9-year-old Ralphie Parker . “I’m excited to bring this film to the stage because the story and the characters lend themselves so well to the world of musicals.” With previews beginning Wednesday at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre (and running Dec. 9-30), A Christmas Story: The Musical! will remain loyal to the film adaptation of Jean Shepherd’s short stories and includes an original score from Broadway composing duo Benj Paske and Justin Paul. Couples Retreat Movie Review

Couples Retreat Movie Review Review By:Chocolate Thunder Hey all I am back with another film to review; This one is called Couple Retreat. First off I am biased because I love Vince Vaughn, the man adds a certain flare to all of his characters that pulls me in. Having said that, he takes a mediocre movie and brings it up a notch. The movie itself is purely predictable with each turn more apparent then the next, but the comedic dialogue make it worth watching. Vince Vaughn was not the only funny guy in the movie, his supporting cast did a good job holding their own. So whats the movie about? There are 4 couples that have been married and one has gotten a divorce, which makes another couple think of doing the same, but before they do they want to try a couples resort to try and help repair the marriage. Comedy ensues there after, insert married person joke here, add scantily clad men and women and you got a good DVD rental to watch with you wife. This is not a theatre movie,
