No reason for Biehn. Review by Brandon Wolfe From his rightly venerated run as James Cameron’s early-career go-to guy, it always seemed like Michael Biehn got cheated out of greater stardom. While not exactly a charismatic actor, he was always highly reliable as no-guff man’s man. He almost always played military men, which always suited him well, but his breakthrough role as Kyle Reese in the original Terminator showed that Biehn could bring more to a character than gritted-teeth exposition delivery. I’m not suggesting that he deserved to ascend to the A-List, but neither did he deserve to flame out in the ‘90s as much as he did. Now Biehn has become something of a self-made man. Blanc-Biehn Productions' The Girl Nominated for 2017 Saturn Award Independent film company Blanc-Biehn Productions' horror film The Girl has been honored with a Saturn Award nomination for excellence. The tense sci-fi thriller is up for a Saturn in the Best DVD/BD Release in the Home Entertainment category, stars Michael Biehn and is directed by his Blanc-Biehn Productions partner and wife, Jennifer Blanc-Biehn . "A big thank you to the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films for recognizing this exceptional film with a Saturn Award nomination," Blanc-Biehn said of The Girl, which was released domestically in January of this year and has already won Best Feature Film in the Sci-Fi-Fantasy- Horror-Thriller category at the 2016 Burbank Film Festival.
