BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Movie Review: TAG Funniest film I’ve seen this & and the best comedy.

One month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade—risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry “You’re It!” This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they’re coming…and he’s ready. Based on a true story, “Tag” shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing “Tag” is directed by Jeff Tomsic (Comedy Central’s “Broad City”), with a starring ensemble cast led by Ed Helms (The “Hangover” movies, “We’re the Millers”), Jake Johnson (TV’s “New Girl”), Annabelle Wallis (“The Mummy”), Rashida Jones (TV’s “Parks and Recreation”), Isla Fisher (“Now You See Me”), Leslie Bibb (“Iron Man 2”), Hannibal Buress (“Neighbors”), with Jon Hamm (“Baby Driver,” TV’s “Mad Men”) and Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner (“The Hurt Locker,” “The Town”)

Movie Review: #TheMummy

The competent but underwhelming The Mummy doesn't exactly woo us into Universal's Monster Universe. Review by Matt Cummings When news hit last year that Universal was building a Movie Monster Universe (we'll call it MMU), the idea didn't exactly wow audiences to get behind it. But things seemed to improve dramatically when we heard about the talent that was being assembled: Crowe, Cruise, Depp, Jolie, Bardem. Unfortunately, Universal's first (or perhaps second?) foray into this universe - that being The Mummy - arrives merely as a competent product, but lacks the glory of Iron Man and the power of Wonder Woman in terms of whetting our appetite for a larger story. After 5,000 years of sleep in a mercury-filled burial tomb, the Egyptian Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella) - who murdered her father in an attempt to become Egypt's Pharaoh - is accidentally reawakened by treasure hunters Nick (Tom Cruise) and Chris (Jake Johnson). At the same time, a secret

Movie Review: #KingArthur - Legend of the Sword

The bold and wild visuals of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword betray its core problem: a lack of story. Review by Matt Cummings Hollywood's fascination with the reboot seems to have no end. Apparently, our oldest myths are also up for theatrical reassembling, as King Arthur: Legend of the Sword arrives to an audience who probably wasn't clamoring for a retelling (the last was 2004 and it didn't do so well). The result is a highly-stylized, frenetic good time that will most likely end up in the discount bin, but not because it's bad. The story behind Legend of the Sword is different than the traditional tale: instead of being raised by a loving family after the death of his father, Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) is raised in a brothel after he's sent down the river Moses-style after his father Uther (Eric Bana) is killed during a coup by his brother Vortigern (Jude Law). Taking on the role of Morgana, Vortigern is courting ancient and deadly magic in
