Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations to star in the dramedy Truth In Advertising with veteran Brit director Roger Michell (Notting Hill) also on board. The Solution Entertainment Group’s co-founders and partners Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel are financing and producing the film alongside Lynn Hendee (Ender’s Game) and William Chartoff (Creed). John Kenney wrote the screenplay, an adaptation of his acclaimed debut novel of the same name. Filming begins next spring. Reynolds plays Fin Dolan, whose boss asks him to cancel his Christmas vacation to work on an ad campaign. When his best friend announces she has just been proposed to and his estranged father lands in the hospital, Fin begins to wonder why everyone else is moving forward with their lives while he is stuck in neutral. Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts – let alone work with his new co–host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning “news.” As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky’s bloss
