Birds Of Prey's Full Title Revealed

While it's not one we'd imagine Warner Bros. will demand cinema owners slap up on their marquees in full, actor/producer Margot Robbie has revealed that new Harley Quinn spin-off Birds Of Prey has a full name. And that name? Well, you can read it below, straight from Robbie's Instagram account. The Hollywood Reporter called up the studio and learned that yes, (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn ) is indeed part of the title, and not a goof by Robbie. If it were Ryan Reynolds' Twitter feed, we'd be more concerned, but it also ties into a comicbook storyline in which Harley Quinn finally tore herself free from the toxic romance clutches of The Joker. Just few days after we reported that a group of actors were auditioning and screen testing to join Margot Robbie in new Warners/DC pic Birds Of Prey , Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell have won their respective parts. Winstead will be playing Huntress , a character that has had different variations in the comics, including a run as the daughter of Batman and Catwoman. While the likes of Sofia Boutella, Cristin Milioti and Margaret Qualley were up for that role, Winstead has emerged victorious. Likewise Smollett-Bell , who scored the role of Black Canary , known for for her shrieking cry, beat out Gugu Mbatha-Raw . Robbie , of course, will be back as Harley Quinn , with the mismatched team working together to fight a greater threat in Gotham. Still to be decided is the role of detective Rene Montoya, with Justina Machado and Robert Colindrez in the running. Cathy Yan's directing the eventual film, working from a script
