#TheKillingJoke Preview

Announced at Comic-Con last year, an animated adaptation of Alan Moore's classic Batman graphic novel The Killing Joke is almost upon us. The Animated Series' Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are back on voice duties as The Dark Knight and The Joker, and the first look, in the form of a ten-minute behind-the-scenes, was released over the weekend. Moore wrote the standalone The Killing Jok e in 1988, with stunning artwork provided by Brian Bolland. It gives us parallel timelines of a modern-day Joker Arkham escape and vendetta coupled with the Joker's origin story (although we still don't learn who he is). It was initially concieved as not being part of any ongoing continuity, but its controversial treatment of Barbara Gordon led to its being folded into canon as the beginning of her becoming Oracle. Intriguingly, that thread has seen some serious attention in the adaptation, with what looks like some significant extra time devoted to Barbara in costume as Batgirl.

#ConanOBrien To Invade Comic-Con 2015

Last night on Conan, Conan O’Brien announced that he would be hosting his late-night talk show from Comic-Con in San Diego for a week of shows, from July 8 to July 11. Fans of calendars will note that this marks a shift in the airing schedule, as Conan will be offering new episodes on Friday and Saturday, and all shows will be broadcast from the Spreckles Theater in downtown San Diego. Watch the announcement after the Jump... We’ve known since last year that O’Brien would invade this year’s edition of Comic-Con; as TBS notes, it will be the first time that a late-night program has broadcast live from the pop culture convention. Below, you can check out O’Brien’s announcement on last night’s broadcast of Conan—complete with a Darth Vader appearance—and you can read his eloquent, exclusive essay about outgoing late-night legend David Letterman right here. Comic-Con 2014: Avengers 2 Posters Released

Check out the limited edition SDCC posters after the jump. Marvel has released a set of Avengers: Age of Ultron conceptual character posters and is planning to release more during the week. For now, check out the four they've released and we have them below:

Comic-Con 2014: Marvel Announces Another 2018 Movie

The announcement brings Marvel's 2018 releases to three. It's early at Comic-Con 2014, but the news is already starting to flow from the event. Ready to make a big splash, Marvel has announced another release date for an untitled film, this one May 4, 2018. This brings the total number of Marvel films in 2018 to three, and that's not counting other studios which own properties like Spider-man and X-Men. The news comes less than a week after Mouse House claimed five additional other dates from 2017-2019. The news is almost as important as the Wednesday news that Sony had vacated that date for The Amazing Spider-Man 4 as part of its reshuffling of the franchise. But what about learning the actual titles to all of these films? It's clear that we'll get news about many of them this week, as it presents in Hall H on July 26. It's possible that the May 4, 2018 could be set as a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, but we're hoping for something more
