VARÈSE SARABANDE RECORDS PRESENTS CHUCK – ORIGINAL TELEVISION SOUNDTRACK . Featuring Original Music By Tim Jones With Exclusive Premiere Tracks from World-Renowned Duo JEFFSTER! Varèse Sarabande Records will release CHUCK – Original Television Soundtrack digitally and on CD April 7, 2015. The album features the film’s original score by Tim Jones (Human Target, Cult), with three performances by Jeffster, featuring Vik Sahay: “Take on Me”, “Fortunate Son,” and “Fat Bottom Girls.” The digital version of the soundtrack will contain additional score tracks and two bonus Jeffster songs, “Leaving on a Jet Plane” and the hilarious “Mr. Roboto.” “CHUCK was really a hybrid of many different genres,” said Jones. “My instructions were to bind them with a score that would bring together all the disparate elements. Nearly every episode saw the introduction of a new sound or feel to match the action. It was a great deal of fun.” Tim Jones is a composer for film and television. While best

NBC's Chuck Return's For A 5th Season

Perennial bubble show Chuck has apparently avoided cancellation once again. While NBC sources are not confirming that the spy-fi series will get a fifth season, several sources are reporting that a deal is being hammered out with Warner Bros. and is imminent. Though the ratings have been at their lowest this spring, Warner Bros. would love to make a deal, because five seasons of Chuck means syndication. As for NBC, well, scripted drama has not been the network's friend. That said, don't be surprised if we get a shorter 13-episode final season. So, while it looks like fans won't have to eat mountains of Subway sandwiches to save Chuck as they did to insure a third season of the show, there are no such hopeful murmurings for The Event, which has even lower ratings. The alien conspiracy series is not likely to be renewed. Please Leave A Comment- Source- SyFY

Rachel Bilson Returns To Television In CW's Hart of Dixie

Rachel Bilson has signed to star in the CW drama pilot Hart of Dixie.  The project reunites Bilson with Josh Schwartz; the two worked together on the Fox drama The O.C . before Schwartz went on to develop Gossip Girl for the CW. Rachel Bilson Returns To TV In CW's  Hart of Dixie Bilson will play a New York City doctor who relocates to a small southern town — filled with eccentric characters, of course — when she inherits a medical practice there. The fish-out-of-water drama is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire shingle. Leila Gerstein wrote the script and will executive producer with Schwartz, Savage and Len Goldstein. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

Chuck's Josh Schwartz To Direct Fun Size

Josh Schwartz (co-created  NBC's Chuck )  will make his feature directing debut with Fun Size , a teen comedy that his Fake Empire shingle is developing for Paramount. Read my Exclusive interview with him Here about Chuck. Paramount picked up the spec script by Colbert Report scribe Max Werner in May 2010. And while several projects are vying for Schwartz's attention as a director, including the coming-of-age drama Looking for Alaska , he fell hard for the comedic script, which centers on a sarcastic teenage girl who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out. A sticking point had been timing. Paramount was unsure if the movie should be made in time for this Halloween or Halloween 2012. The studio has now made the decision to go for this year, so the movie, while still not officially greenlighted, according to the studio, is shooting for a late spring start in St. Louis. Lis Rowin

Chuck Cast Interviews Part Two Zachary Levi, Joshua Gomez And Adam Baldwin At Wonder Con this past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Chuck round table interview session. This is part two of my interviews with the cast of the NBC show Chuck. To read part one of my interview with Chris Fedak And Josh Schwartz click Here . If you have ever attend one of these things then you know how crazy and fast pace they are.  You have to be brave and just ask your questions without hesitation and that is what I did. I had the opportunity to talk to the stars of the show Zachary Levi ( Chuck ), Joshua Gomez ( Morgan ) And Adam Baldwin ( KC ). This is my second interview with Zachary Levi, I had gotten the chance to ask him a few things at last years Comic Con. Once the cast took their seats every reporter put out out their tape recording devices near the actors. Joshua ask everyone "Where are the ipads?" Zachary said  "Apparently no one lined up to go get one." And t

Bryan Singer To Direct "X-Men: First Class"

Bryan Singer To Direct "X-Men: First Class" Singer first mentioned that he'll be working on the project while talking to MySpace last night at "Avatar" premiere. At this time neither Fox nor Marvel has had official comment, but sources close to the matter say that yes, Singer is on board in a big way. The "develop" news insinuates that the last script by Josh Schwartz may not be in Singer's future plans. It was expected that the new film would tell the story of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast and other familiar characters as teenagers when they first meet Professor Charles Xavier and join his School for Gifted Youngsters. The premise has been rumored for sometime, but was hinted at with a subplot of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" which featured early incarnations of Cyclops and Emma Frost (aka The White Queen) among others. It's unclear if Singer's intention to bring a new vision to the film will change that scenario. The irony of Singer
