It turns out that he is not only the scion of one of the country’s wealthiest families but also one of its most sought-after bachelors. Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Working On McDonald's Monopoly Film

True crime tales often make good source material for movies, and one about a scam involving a McDonald's Monopoly game is a doozy. The rights have now attracted 20th Century Fox, with Ben Affleck on to direct and Matt Damon considering starring in the untitled film.

In this case, the article source is Jeff Maysh's excellent piece for The Daily Beast entitled How An Ex-Cop Rigged McDonald’s Monopoly Game And Stole Millions (you can read it here).

The story follows the tale of a former cop who rigged the game and stole more than $24 million, pocketing some and sharing the rest with co-conspirators who helped him run the scam, which included mobsters, psychic, strip-club owners, drug traffickers and a family of Mormons who falsely claimed to have won more than millions in cash and prizes. Deadpool duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are the people tasked with turning that into a script.

Affleck and Damon will produce the film for Fox, which according to Deadline beat the likes of W…

Rebecca Ferguson Joins New Men In Black Movie

She's on our screens at the moment, having returned to the Mission: Impossible franchise for the successful Fallout. And Rebecca Ferguson is continuing to notch up the high profile film jobs. She's now sealed a deal to take one of the leads in the new Men In Black.

She'll star alongside Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Rafe Spall and Kumail Nanjiani in the new spin-off, which will be set in the same universe as the movies which starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, but will not feature those characters (aside from potential cameos, and of the two, we could only see Smith showing up). F. Gary Gray is directing the movie right now in and around London.

Quite who Ferguson will be playing remains a mystery at this point, but we do know that the movie will be the second film she shoots in a row, as she's officially aboard Stephen King-based Shining sequel Doctor Sleep, playing a nasty villain.

#ChristopherRobin Movie Review 'Is this Film an oh bother experience or is this a charming one?'

Christopher Robin is the next Disney Live Action film, where they take one of their classic animated features and turn it into a live action film. This Film centers around a older Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) who is a working Family Man now that encounters his childhood friend Winnie The Pooh in a time of need where is life is needing a little bit of joy. I was really looking forward to this film once the first trailer dropped, and the second I heard Jim Cummings voice for Winnie the Pooh I was shot back in time to my childhood.

The same effect stands within this movie. Winnie the Pooh and his 100 Acre gang is the best part about this movie. The CGI not only looks great but the director choose a very cool style to make them look which added to the feel of the movie. The best thing about these characters returning into live action format is just seeing how well they play out in this world and just the amount of laugh out loud moments each one brings. Especially Eeyore who the gl…

#Blackkklansman Review 'John David Washington & Adam Driver Are Great In The Film'

From visionary filmmaker Spike Lee comes the incredible true story of an American hero. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. At Eternity’s Gate Starring Willem Dafoe Will Premiere On Closing Night Of The 56th NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announces Julian Schnabel’s At Eternity’s Gate as Closing Night of the 56th New York Film Festival (September 28 – October 14), making its North American premiere at Alice Tully Hall on Friday, October 12, 2018. CBS Films will release the film in November 2018.

Julian Schnabel’s ravishingly tactile and luminous new film takes a fresh look at the last days of Vincent van Gogh, and in the process revivifies our sense of the artist as a living, feeling human being. Schnabel; his co-writers Jean-Claude Carrière and Louise Kugelberg, also the film's editor; and cinematographer Benoît Delhomme strip everything down to essentials, fusing the sensual, the emotional, and the spiritual. And the pulsing heart of At Eternity’s Gate is Willem Dafoe’s shattering performance: his Vincent is at once lucid, mad, brilliant, helpless, defeated, and, finally, triumphant. With Oscar Isaac as Gauguin, Rupert Friend as Theo, Mathieu Amalric as Dr. Gachet, Emmanuelle S…

The Spy Who Dumped Me Review 'Entertained me & made me laugh'

The Spy Who Dumped Me is a brand new action comedy starring Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon as two best friends who get entangled into an international conspiracy when one of the women discover that their boyfriend was a spy. Now I went into this film honestly thinking it was a romcom… due to the fact that I haven’t seen a single trailer for this film and just knew the title and who was in it.

Which if I were to sum up this film in one word it would be surprising. The film honestly surprised me. Not only the fact that it was an action comedy, but it made me laugh, giggle, and gut bust laugh at least a couple times. Plus might I say the action in this film is fantastic. I love when comedies that do have action take it serious and make it fantastic to watch. A lot of the success of these things goes to the director Susanna Fogel, who once again needs to helm an action film of sorts.. A HARD R ACTION FILM, because that is what she did so well was directing the R rated action in this film.

First Look At Pedro Pascal In 'Wonder Woman 1984'

Aside from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, mostly what we've seen of anticipated superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984 has come from director Patty Jenkins' Twitter feed. She's back with a new image that features Pedro Pascal in a none-more-'80s power suit, which you can see above.

No information has been released about who Pascal is playing, but that tie alone screams "wrong 'un!" We'll have to wait and see who he turns out to be.

Gal Gadot is definitely back as Diana Prince, this time battling evil (Kristen Wiig will cause trouble for her as archaeologist Barbara Minerva, who becomes the villain known as Cheetah) and we'll also see Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, who is mysteriously back despite kicking the bucket in explosive style at the end of the first film.

Priyanka Chopra To Join Cowboy Ninja Viking

Variety is reporting Priyanka Chopra is in talks to join Universal’s adaptation of “Cowboy Ninja Viking” starring Chris Pratt.

The role was one of the more highly coveted in town and Chopra beat out a slew of talent after a chemistry test with Pratt went extremely well.

The film is based on the Image Comics graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo. It was adapted by Dan Mazeau (“Wrath of the Titans”) and Ryan Engle (“The Commuter”). Craig Mazin wrote an earlier draft of the screenplay with an original version by “Deadpool” writers Paul Wernick and Everett David Reese.

The novel revolves around an assassin who manifests the toughest skills of three different personas: a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking.
