Mortal Kombat: Legacy Scorpion & Sub Zero Part 1

The next chapter in Mortal Kombat: Legacy is the story of Scorpion & Sub-Zero . Ah the only down side about this video is that they don't cast actual Japanese actors. It just sounds to forced when they talk. Episode 7: "Scorpion and Sub Zero (Part 1)" Hanzo Hasashi , better known as the warrior Scorpion , is summoned to meet with the Shogun of Kumamoto Castle. While traveling, the fearless General of the Shirai Ryu clan encounters his mortal enemy, Sub-Zero . Scorpion realizes too late that this trap has led him away from his village and family, leaving them without means to defend themselves. He knows that he must defeat Sub-Zero and return to his village before it is too late The following episode represents director Kevin Tancharoen's "different take on the Mortal Kombat universe," combining the perfect amount of gritty realism mixed with a hint of mysticism... The following episode represents director Kevin Tancharoen's "different take on the Mortal Kombat universe," combining the perfect amount of gritty realism mixed with a hint of mysticism... Nonetheless, Blue, his beautiful, fragile yet insane fellow inmate, is Raiden's only hope of escaping the mental hospital and making his way to the Mortal Kombat tournament to defend Earthrealm from Shao Khan. Shao Kahn, Emperor of the Outworld, has tricked Shang Tsung into becoming his servant for Mortal Kombat by making him clone Mileena as a Tarkatan clone of Kitana, out of Shao Kahn's fear that Kitana wouldn't love him enough if she ever found out the truth about her Mother and Father. Mortal Kombat "Rebirth" Trailer

Mortal Kombat "Rebirth" Trailer Speculation has run rampant today with the debut of a short " Mortal Kombat " film (subtitled " Rebirth ") that made its way anonymously to YouTube. Now, Latino Review reports that the film is, as many theorized, a test for a potential R-rated film reboot of the video game franchise. If this film doesn't get made after this trailer then someone in Hollywood needs to go down! The short is directed by Kevin Tancharoen , the director of last year's Fame, and features a cast that includes name actors like Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Matt Mullins (Johnny Cage), Lateef Crowder (Baraka) and Ian Anthony Dale (Scorpion) with fight choreography by Larnell Stovall. Though there is no guarantee that these actors will play the characters in a feature film version or even that a feature film will actually happen, the short is already a huge success online.
