Diggle To Get An Upgrade & Production Has Begun On Arrow Season 5

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted that production on season 5 has officially started today with the premiere episode titled “Legacy,” directed by James Bamford. Actor David Ramsey who plays John Diggle said at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, via People, that his character will rock a new mask created by Cisco. And Ramsey’s co-star, Stephen Amell confirmed, also at the same event, that pro-wrestler, Cody Rhodes a.k.a Stardust, will guest star in an episode of this new season. And actress Madison McLaughlin who previously played Evelyn Sharp who impersonated the fallen Black Canary, is coming back as a masked archer called Artemis who in the comics was the daughter of villains Tigress and Sportsmaster, and also a member of the Injutice Society but in DC animated series, “Young Justice,” she was Green Arrow’s sidekick after Roy Harper left the group. Perhaps on this show, Ollie (Stephen Amell) and team will mentor her on this heroic path. ARROW season 5 premieres Wednes

First Image Of Diggle From ARROW Season 4

Oliver isn’t the only one sporting a new suit when Arrow returns for season 4. I'm not a big fan of this costume. As revealed at Comic-Con, season 4 finds Diggle ( David Ramsey ) actually wearing a super suit, despite never being a fan of them. “We try to be very consistent with our characterization,” EP Marc Guggenheim recently told EW of Diggle’s reaction to the suit. “I don’t think Diggle looks at it as a costume per se,” he continues. “Oliver [Stephen Amell], in the last season, gave him advice in terms of concealing his identity, and so Diggle approaches it from a very practical standpoint. He followed Oliver’s advice and he’s got a means of concealing his identity, but I think Diggle would probably react to anyone calling it a costume.” Arrow is slated to return Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. #Arrow Sees Another Villain Join Season 4

See what role a Sons of Liberty star will play opposite Oliver Queen. Story by Matt Cummings Season 3 of CW's Arrow is the books, but audiences weren't happy with the results, although it did start off strong. Focusing on the death of Black Canary (Caity Lotz), the destruction of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) by Ra's al Ghul (Matthew Nable), the rise of Atom (Brandon Routh) and his on-again/off-again relationship with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), the season still left audiences with mixed feelings. Producer and Co-Creator Greg Berlanti are hoping to change that by adding a series of new villains for the now-defunct Arrow to hunt. Thursday saw the signing of Sons of Liberty star Jimmy Akingbolais to play Baron Reiter, who will appear in flashbacks. While only comic fans will know of his character, Baron Reiter is the Nazi super villain Baron Blitzkreig, leader of the criminal organization Shadowspire. The organization first made their appearance

First Look At Katie Cassidy As The Black Canary

Laurel may be suiting up in a new Black Canary costume, but Arrow fans be warned: The novice is far from being a hero. Driven by revenge, Laurel ( Katie Cassidy ) has been desperate to take up the mantle of the Black Canary following the death of her sister Sara ( Caity Lotz ), inching her closer and closer to fulfilling her comic book destiny—something fans of the graphic novels have been eagerly awaiting since the show’s inception. But she may be putting the cart before the horse when she finally suits up. “Just because you put on a mask and a costume doesn’t mean you’re a superhero,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells EW. “A mask does not a hero make. We’re really at the beginning of Laurel’s journey to becoming the Black Canary, not the end by virtue of the fact that she’s put on a costume.” Therefore, when Laurel does finally go out to fight crime, “It’s not like Arrow [ Stephen Amell ], Arsenal [ Colton Haynes ] or Diggle [ David Ramsey ] going out into the field,

New #Arrow Season 3 Trailer

Oliver Queen ( Stephen Amell ) making the move on his trusted tech whiz Felicity Smoak ( Emily Bett Rickards ). While in the middle of another high-speed chase in Starling City, Oliver doesn't waste a second in asking Felicity out on that date. Watch the clip after the Jump... "Do you like Italian?" he asks innocently while racing through an abandoned backstreet on his bike. "Oliver, you're in the middle of a high-speed chase," Felicity says, slightly taken aback. Oliver's response? "I'm multitasking." In another moment, Oliver — lightening up a little — takes an early leave after some late-night crime-fighting only to have Quentin Lance ( Paul Blackthorne ) drop in this gem: "Do you have a hot date or something?" As the trailer — set to Death From Above 1979's "Trainwreck 1979" — suggests, it's a new day in Starling City in season three. Diggle ( David Ramsey ) puts it best when he says there are two ty
