Frank used violence and intimidation to bring his closest family members into The Outfit, employing his younger brother Nick as a collector and hitman, and forcing his two sons Kurt and Frank, Jr. into a life of crime at the ages of 12 and 13. In 1995, the FBI arrested Frank, Nick, Frank Jr. and Kurt for racketeering.
