BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Patrick Heusinger Cast As The Villain In Jack Reacher 2

According to Variety after his break-out role in Bravo’s “ Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce ,” Patrick Heusinger is now in talks to join Tom Cruise in Paramount and Skydance’s sequel to “ Jack Reacher ” as the villain. Cobie Smulders, Aldis Hodge and Danika Yarosh are also on board to join the cast with Ed Zwick directing. Zwick and and Marshall Herskovitz wrote the most recent draft of the script after Richard Wenk penned the original draft. Paramount grossed $218 million worldwide from 2012’s “Jack Reacher,” directed by Christopher McQuarrie from his own script based on the Lee Child series of novels. The sequel will be based on Child’s “Never Go Back,” in which Reacher travels from South Dakota to the Virginia headquarters of the U.S. Army Military Police Corps and finds that his new commanding officer has been arrested. Details surrounding Hodge’s role are under wraps at this time, other than the character being described as “the hunter.” Cruise and Don Granger are pro

‘Jack Reacher’ Sequel Might Have Its Director

Read on to find out who is negotiations to direct the Tom Cruise follow-up. Story by Matt Cummings Actor Tom Cruise began a well-documented, nearly phoenix resurgence in his career in 2011, with the Brad Bird -directed Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol . The movie featured a now-famous stunt of Cruise scaling the Burj Khalifa tower in Mumbai. And while that film ended making over $209m domestically, Cruise's follow-up Jack Reacher made only a modest $218.3m worldwide and just over $80m domestically, counting as something as a failure. But the film was well-received, with Writer/Director Christopher McQuarrie crafting a well-made character study, based on the Lee Child novel series. And while Cruise, Paramount, and Skydance have been quietly developing a script for the follow-up, the results have apparently been not to their liking. Today, we learned that both Paramount and Skydance are in negotiations to have Richard Wenk's script for Jack Reacher 2 re-wr

New Girl In Town For Transformers 3

New Girl In Town For Transformers 3 UPDATE: The other actresses on the short-list have been informed that the female lead will go to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley , so unless things fall apart at the negotiating table, she's the new Transformers 3 gal. EARLIER: Newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has become the front-runner to replace Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf's love interest in Transformers 3. Insiders say that Bay is down to a short-list of three actresses, but is focused on the model after she read for the role last Friday. On the short-list with Huntington-Whiteley is Sarah Wright and Brooklyn Decker. Wrigh t has appeared in Surfer, Dude and The House Bunny. Decker is the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue model who got her first big starring role opposite Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in the comedy Just Go With It, which might be retitled to Pretend Wife. Paramount began production May 17 in Los Angeles on Transformers 3. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Deadline

Megan Fox Will Not Return In Transformers 3

Megan Fox Will Not Return In Transformers 3 Paramount won't be picking up Megan Fox's option on Transformers 3 -- and that it was "ultimately" director Michael Bay's decision. (So he gets his revenge for her remark comparing him to "Hitler".) Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star. Now we might all want to take this with a grain of salt, but Deadline has always been right on with their information.  And now we have news that  Variety has also confirmed this news. So did Megan deserve to get fired? I say yes. No actor/actress can expect to go around dissing a director and expect to work together as if nothing happened. Much less the egotistical Bay. But in Fox, he had met his match. Why, as recently as this week Megan was quoted as dissing

Beverly Hills Cop 4 Huge Priority

Beverly Hills Cop 4 Huge Priority I for one would like to see this movie get fast tracked. On my top ten Favorite movies would have to be Beverly Hills Cop 2 . The third movie should be whipped out of all our memory. Horrible movie! Tired of Eddie Murphy making all these kids flick, I understand the pay checks are nice, But I would like to see him return to his old self with all the foul language and humor he once had. Director Brett Ratner discussed the risky business of integrating brands into movies Thursday at an Advertising Week event focused on "consumer attention in a media-saturated world." Using the example of his current "Beverly Hills Cop" project -- which Ratner said is "a huge priority for Paramount -- the director said that Eddie Murphy will need to drive a car in the film, and that he has to figure out which one. Rather than doing a deal with a car maker and trying to force its product into the story, Ratner said the process must work the oth
