BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The 3 Ladies Up For Captain America's Love Interest In Winter Solider

The cast of Captain America: The Winter Solider is growing. Chris Evans already has a new partner in Anthony Mackie (Falcon), and now the hunt is on for his leading lady. Here are the three actresses who have caught Marvel's eye. The New York Post is reporting that Anna Kendrick (The Twilight Saga, 50/50), Felicity Jones (The Tempest, Chalet Girl) and Imogen Poots (Jane Eyre, Fright Night) are front-runners for the Captain America sequel. What role are they fighting for? Marvel is keeping that a secret, but many assume it's Sharon Carter . Sharon is the niece of Margaret "Peggy" Carter ( Hayley Atwell ), who appeared in the first Captain America . Like her aunt, Sharon is also a love interest for Steve Rogers . Anna Kendrick has appeared in The Twilight Saga, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, 50/50 and, most notably, 2009's Up in the Air. Her performance as Natalie earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Felicity Jones is a Bri

HIT AND RUN Review. Don't Run To See It.

HIT AND RUN Review By: RAMA Was RAMA blown away by this film? A very weak car chase movie, but a an entertaining romantic comedy, that’s what HIT AND RUN is to me and if the marketing sells it more of a car chase movie than rom-com, don’t get fooled! This is Dax Shepard’s labor of love, being the co-director of the project along with David Palmer, not to mention that most of the relationship dilemmas in this movie were taken from some of the situations that real life couple Shepard and his co-star Kristen Bell have gone through, plus Shepard, much like his character Charlie Bronson, is also a car nerd, so HIT AND RUN doesn’t get more personal for Shepard than that. This is his baby and it’s not a complete fail.. From the producer of Wedding Crashers – written and directed by and starring comic talent Dax Shepard (NBC’s “Parenthood”), HIT AND RUN is the story of Charlie Bronson ( Shepard ), a nice guy with a questionable past who busts out of the witness protection progra

Star Wars: Detours First Trailer & Clips

We've been waiting for ages to finally get a glimpse of Seth Green's upcoming Star Wars cartoon comedy show. Green and his crew just unveiled the first footage at Star Wars Celebration VI , and we've got four clips for you to see right here! Titled Star Wars: Detours , the series will be set between Episodes III and IV, and will feature a large cast of well-known characters as well as new characters. As Green promised, it's CG-animated, and it's got a very exaggerated style (check out Leia's GIGANTIC hair buns). The tone for much of it seems similar to the spoofs Green and company pulled off on Robot Chicken, though not as raunchy. Among the gags: the Emperor and Darth Vader telling everyone the Death Star's actually a mall while it's still under construction, Han and Chewie coming off like an old married couple and Leia acting like a desperate-for-attention celebutante. Among the talent coming to the show, both as actors and writers, are Robot C

Brad Pitt & Denzel Washington Going To A "Candy Store"

Oscar-winning writer-director Stephen Gaghan is ramping up his next film — and he's attracting interest from major actors. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Gaghan will direct Candy Store , a crime thriller he also wrote, and that Brad Pitt and Denzel Washington are in early talks to star. The film is set up at Lionsgate. No deals are done, and sources described the discussions to be in the nascent stage. But if the film comes together with those stars, it would mark Gaghan's most high-profile directing project since 2005's Syrianna. Gaghan won a Academy Award for writing the Steven Soderbergh-directed Traffic in 2000. He also co-wrote the screenplay for next summer's Will Smith sci-fi adventure After Earth. Candy Store is described as a "two-hander" crime thriller with meaty roles for the two main characters. A highly trained, deep cover operative starts his life over in Brooklyn as a beat cop only to discover the global organization he was

Videodrome Remake On It's Way

Celebrated commercials helmer Adam Berg is in talks to make his feature directing debut on Videodrome , the remake of the 1983 David Cronenberg -directed film that is set up at Universal Pictures. Ehren Kruger scripted the remake and is producing with partner Daniel Bobker. He is represented by CAA, Management 360 and attorney PJ Shapiro. Reno Malo will be exec producer. James Woods starred in the original Videodrome as the head of Civic TV Channel 83. He makes his station relevant by programming Videodrome, a series that depicts torture and murder that transfixes viewers. When Kruger and Bobker set it up at Universal, they planned to modernize the concept, infusing it with the possibilities of nano-technology and blow it up into a large-scale sci-fi action thriller. Adebisi Joins The Cast Of THOR Sequel The Dark World

Team Marvel, which is still in the midst of making Thor sequel The Dark World , has snagged former Mr. Eko on Lost , Simon Adebisi on Oz and Nykwana Wombosi in The Bourne Identity, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje to play not one but – count ‘em – two roles in the movie. The actor, who has also appeared in the likes of G.I. Joe, Faster, The Thing and Unstoppable, is on board to initially play Algrim the Strong , the toughest of the Dark Elves ruled by Malekith ( Christopher Eccleston ) who fight Thor and his family. But when Malekith betrays him, Algrim is injured in battle, only to be healed and turned into Kurse, a being who is described as twice as strong as Asdgard’s finest. How much of the comic lore surrounding him will translate to the screen has yet to be seen, but from the sounds of his dual role, they may be staying true to his tale. Alan Taylor is calling the shots even now in London, with Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Jamie Alexande

First Carrie Images Of Chloe Moretz & Julianne Moore

These new stills from Screen Gems' update of Carrie feature our first official glimpses of Carrie's mother, the God-fearing Margaret White, and of course of her daughter, Carrie herself, as essayed by Chloe Grace Moretz . It's a fairly standard image of Margaret, in gauzy bride-of-Christ white, although Moore is undoubtedly great casting for the role. But what's interesting here is that Screen Gems have taken the bull by the horns (or the blood bucket by the handle) and decided to lead with the Brian De Palma film's most famous image: Carrie drenched in gore at the high school prom (see below for the Sissy Spacek version). It's a brave decision, and one that's perhaps designed to immediately get those comparisons out of the way. Perhaps future reveals will focus on what's different about the new film, rather that what's the same. See images after the Jump... Director Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry) says she's, reasonably enough, gon

Josh Brolin Is Crazy For The Storm

It's just a couple of weeks since the announcement that Sean Penn would likely direct the film, and now here come the casting stories . First in line for Crazy For The Storm is Josh Brolin , as surf and ski guru Norman Ollestad Sr. The film is based on a memoir by Ollestad's son, also called Norman. The book covers his childhood with his demanding but charismatic father amid the surf cultures of Malibu and Mexico in the 1970s. But there's also the small matter of the plane crash in 1979 that deposited them both 9000ft up in the San Gabriel Mountains in a blizzard, causing the then 11-year-old Norman Jr to draw on all his inherited outdoorsman skills to survive. Interestingly, this isn't the first surfing patriarch that Penn has considered committing to film: he was supposed to be producing (and possibly starring in) a biopic of surf-camp pioneer Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz a couple of years ago. Crazy For The Storm is obviously coming from a slightly differe

The Rocketeer To Relaunch

Now that Disney’s troubled movie studio is under new management, our spies tells us that, curiously, one of the first properties to be developed for a feature film is a reboot of 1991’s thirties-set adventure film, The Rocketeer . We say ‘curiously’ because while the property was actually a flop at the time, its similarity to the current Disney-Marvel cash cow Iron Man is more than a little striking: In it, a racing pilot named Cliff Secord ( Billy Campbell ) discovers a rocket-pack prototype in his stunt plane, hidden there by the gangsters who stole it from Howard Hughes; Secord tries it out, and, like Tony Stark, quickly discovers that a) flying without a plane is SO cool, and b) you gotta fight the bad guys (including Timothy Dalton , who two years prior had starred as James Bond for the second time) and save the girl (a luminous Jennifer Connelly ). While both properties are based on comic books, Iron Man actually arrived on the scene first: The Rocketeer was first published

And Here Is The First Poster For Steven Spielberg's Lincoln

We have the first poster for the upcoming film Lincoln . The film was directed by Steven Spielberg , starring Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln . The film is based on Doris Kearns Goodwin's biography of Lincoln, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln. Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones , “Lincoln” is produced by Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy, with a

Red 2 Teaser Poster

Though the cameras have yet to even begin rolling, director Dean Parisot and his Red 2 marketing team wants to make sure we know that the sequel is coming. But with no footage to show, they’ve had to resort to a teaser poster for the movie, Red 2 features the return of Bruce Willis ’ retired-but-still dangerous operative Frank Moses, along with pals Marvin Boggs ( John Malkovich ), Victoria (Helen Mirren) and sort-of girlfriend Sarah Ross ( Mary- Louise Parker ). This time around, the aging heroes must deal with the threat of new enemies in Europe, which requires them to team back up. Fresh faces (well, sort of) this time around include Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Neal McDonough and Byung-hun Lee . Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Ellen DeGeneres To Return To Finding Nemo 2

Ellen DeGeneres is in negotiations to reprise her role in Disney/Pixar's planned Finding Nemo sequel . Assuming the deal comes together, DeGeneres would voice Dory, a blue tang fish who was suffering from short-term memory loss in the 2003 original film. Over the years, DeGeneres has not been quiet about her desire to see a Nemo sequel come to fruition, making multiple mentions on her popular syndicated talk show. Writer/director Andrew Stanton (John Carter), who wrote the 2003 film with DeGeneres in mind and co-directed it, is set to return for the follow-up. Victoria Strouse is writing the script and Lindsey Collins is producing. A 2016 release date is projected. The original, which won the Academy award for best animated feature, is still the highest-grossing orignal Pixar movie, earning $868 million to date worldwide, The first Nemo, like several Disney properties, is getting a 3D update. The Pixar classic will be rereleased in theaters next month. The news comes

The Huntress Added To CW’s Arrow

The CW’s Arrow is getting another classic DC Comics character — and Stephen Amell ’s vigilante is getting a potential love interest. The highly anticipated fall action-drama series is adding The Huntress for a multi-episode arc. Not only is the character coming to the show, but EW.com has also learned the role has just been filled: The Huntress will be played by Aussie TV actress Jessica De Gouw . Introduced in 1947, The Huntress is the star of her own DC Comics series and there’s been a few iterations the character over the years. Arrow will feature the modern-era version whose alias is Helena Bertinelli. She’s the daughter of a mafia boss who vows revenge after her family is murdered. The comics had The Huntress prowling Batman’s backyard of Gotham, but we expect Arrow to keep Bertinelli close to Oliver Queen’s Starling City. Here’s the official character description: “Helena is a potential love interest for Oliver Queen; a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s

Olivia Williams Joins Ten With Schwarzenegger

Olivia Williams has joined the cast of Ten, the Arnold Schwarzenegger action thriller previously known as Breacher . David Ayer is directing for QED International. The script, written by Skip Woods (Swordfish), follows 10 DEA agents who pull off a heist during an enforcement operation, then start dying one by one. The cast already includes S am Worthington, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello and House of Lies actress Dawn Olivieri. Williams will play a tenaciously cutthroat detective who's investigating the team murders. Open Road is domestically distributing the movie, which is eyeing an October start in Atlanta. She has several movies in the can, including Wright’s adaptation of Anna Karenina and Hyde Park on the Hudson, where she stars as Eleanor Roosevelt to Bill Murray’s FDR. The Bourne Legacy Review By:Ursula

The Bourne Legacy Review By:Ursula Look who's back with another review. The one and only Ursula. The Bourne Legacy had potential, but got lost in a lot of political back and forth. The beginning of the movie is a drag. The effort to catch the audience up on the previous movies becomes repetitive and unnecessary. Aaron Cross, (played by Jeremy Renner ) starts out alone, climbing and scaling rocky snowy covered mountains. Apparently, he has been banished for wrong doing. All this is going on while politics unravel back at Treadstone headquarters. Aaron Cross is linked to Dr.Shearing (played by Rachel Weisz ) by her testing blood samples for her scientific research. Her tests are on the effect the pills had on him and others in the program. It was rough sitting through the first half of the movie, other than a doctor going postal in a high security lab, because the scenes were not captivating and interesting. The characters are what carried the film. Both Aaron and the Dr.Shearin
